Beginners and experts ages 5 - 70 are welcome on our super stable double kayaks that make your tour comfortable, safe and easy. Farmer John wetsuits, splash jackets, & life jackets are provided at no charge to paddlers.

Activity Description
Explore the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary on an A B Seas Kayak Tour! This tour will be an incredible adventure you'll never forget.
On the tour:
- See marine mammals such as sea lions, harbor seals and sea otters in their natural habitats.
- Birders will appreciate pelicans, cormorants, grebes, mergansers, phalanthropes, egrets, meurres, surf scooters and other local and migratory shorebirds!
- Learn about the interesting background of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary - the Monterey waterfront was one of the first settlements on the West Coast and is famous for the Cannerys in the early 20th century that John Steinbeck made legendary in his book Cannery Row.
The tour includes a super stable sit-on-top kayak, paddle, seatback, wetsuit, life jacket, dry bag, paddling instruction and safety orientation. It is recommended for novices or experienced kayakers alike ages 5 to 70; our naturalist guides will instruct you in paddling and guide you to many points of interest. People of any athletic ability can join us, as the tours move at a leisurely pace allowing everyone to participate!
Our kayak trips are much more than just kayaking -- we help you explore the sea and have unique and interesting encounters with marine mammals and other wildlife!
>>Morning and afternoon tour guests will enjoy the option of exploring on their own for an hour after the guided tour concludes. Morning and afternoon tours are therefore 3 hours whereas evening tours are 2 hours long.<<
What Is Not Included?
- Wetsuit booties or water shoes are not included.
