| Highly recommended! Go with an open mind and play along and you will have a great day. We were lucky with our group and we all had a great time, and stayed for beers together at the end of it. So much fun and completely unexpected |

| A group of 12 Brooklynites decided to enjoy the sights and sounds of Greenwich village and boy were we pleased. The show was mysterious and entertaining and provided 2 1/2 hours of sheer enjoyment; a enthusiastic 2 thumbs up & bravo to the creators and cast members. |

| The stories from the characters were drawn out and could have been more engaging. |

| My sister and I went on Accomplice New York In the Spring of 2007. We absolutely LOVED it. Told everyone about it and ever since had been hoping to do it again... hopefully the Village next time around since we hadn't tried that version yet. I have lived in NYC for several years now.. and my parents had never come to visit me... (they are from Seattle) Finally last week they came. I got a group of my friends together to do the tour with us. We were all so excited since I had raved and raved about it since the last time that we did it.
Anyway. We were running exactly 5 minutes late. The moment we got out of the subway I called and said that we would be five minutes late. The phone connection was patchy and I'm not sure the contact person on the ticket email could hear me...
Anyway. I explained that we would be 5 minutes late. When we arrived I told the girl that we met that we had called to explain that we would be 5 minutes late. She then made a call to someone and said, "they are here... I don't know.. she said they called somebody ... maybe they called X..."
We started walking to the first location. When we arrived our "guide" said that we would NOT be having a drink since we were LATE. okay....
The actors were overall pretty good but I could tell that another group must have been behind schedule a bit further down the line as we were at one spot a VERY long time... anyway.
We arrive at the final stop and my mother (after 2 hours of walking) needed to use the bathroom. The group of us sat down but waited for her to get out as we knew we must be getting the finale.
About 1 minute after we sat down a women with dark hair came over and said, " are you guys supposed to be doing something here?!" I said yes, but my mother is in the ladies and we'd like to wait for her... "she said well whatever you're doing i suggest you get on with it!" UNBELIEVABLE> Seriously. When the group of us pay 540 bucks... You guys need to get a grip. I will NEVER recommend your show again to anyone. Sometimes things just don't do well over time... and this is one of them. Also, the story is weak and the theme link is practically non existent... Accomplice NY was much better and I hope you have a better team running it. |

| Although fun we all thought each piece was a little drawn out. Our least fav was that room that smelled like an armpit. Very stuffy. We liked another place, but it was a shame we were the only people there, it lacked a lively atmosphere.
I did accomplice NY in Oct of 2007, and every place we went to was extremely lively.
We could have used one more drink as well. All in all I feel it was well crafted, but a bit lack luster.
Cheers,

| A few weeks ago, a friend and I did Accomplice: New York. We loved it so much we signed up for Accomplice: The Village and recruited a few other friends. Both activities were extremely entertaining. The actors played their parts well. I would recommend either of these activities to anyone looking for a different kind of experience while in New York City. You see things most tourists don't see. It is also a good activity for locals. |

| The idea of an interactive mystery that takes place around and with the audience is really wonderful. New York is such a perfect setting for this type of event. The audience interaction with the characters is also clever, although not new. Ten years ago there was a rash of dinner "murder mysteries" where the audience had to figure out who "did it".
What was lacking here was a clearly conveyed , cleverly conceived, theme. Even when the conceit was revealed. our reaction was "so what". The characters should have been, rather than characatures, "real" New Yorkers off the street. We as the audience should always be thinking, "what is real and what is not?". The actors played their roles too broadly (with exception of the female characters). They were so silly, and meandering that audience members often said, don't you think we should get to the next clue?
Unnecessary was assigning the audience roles.
All in all, it had the feel and something that needed a lot more work in the conception, and rehearsal stages. It is not ready yet. |
