great, but not as great as accomplice ny

My friends and I did accomplice ny earlier this summer. Greenwich village was fun, but I liked accomplice ny better because we had to figure out clues for ourselves, whereas, GV each spot there was a person who led you to almost each location. It was still fun though.

EXPLORING, DISCOVERY and LAUGHS

I had my mother (72) and her college room-mate coming into town for an extended weekend. They have been to the city many times before and I was looking for something new for them to experience. I got tickets to Accomplice: The Village for them, as well as for my mother in law (age 82) and my son (10). It was a great activity for this wide range of ages, and my son had such a great time leading his two grandmothers and friend around. Thank you

If you are able to have fun, enjoy meeting people you don't know and love improv theatre Accomplice the Village is for you. From the minute we began our activity, our group shared in the activity and enjoyed the performances of the very talented actors. The level of creativity ranks with the best. Don't miss it.

Our family of four (four adults) participated in the first Accomplice in Lower Manhattan. We had to much fun at thte first one we had to attend this one as well. If you do a third one - we'll be there! Great idea. Fun way to see a different part of NYC.

Absolutely Brilliant
Sat, Nov 14  1:30 PM Morlani Male 30-39 Local Couple on a Date
My wife found this on Nathan Fillion's blog and practically fell out of her seat in anticipation. I normally consider interactive theatre about as appealing as a bout of dengue fever, but it was her birthday, so I prepared to surrender myself to an afternoon of soldiering on with a smile on my face regardless. I have to say, though, that this has been the best afternoon I've had wandering the streets of Manhattan since the days of B.C. (Before Children). Aside from the brief moment of existential doubt at the very outset (do you call 911 when you witness a possible crime, even though you think, perhaps, it might be part of an act...), the entire event was hilarious and the actors were superb in their characterizations. Being shifted from venue to venue was wonderful, as we got to find new places in town that we'd never been to before, even though we live here, and which we will certainly return to again. It also afforded us the opportunity of chatting with the other people in our group, nice folks, as well as discussing the mystery at hand in a pleasant and leisurely manner. All in all, very well done and highly recommended to anyone who likes a good mystery, a good stroll around town, or both.

Better than Broadway!

I was in New York for such a short time and I wanted to make the most out of it... Accomplice was sure one of the highlights of my visit. I enjoyed it a lot, it was so much fun! I was alone, I live abroad, I didn't know the village at all and I'm not even a native speaker, yet none of this prevented me from having a wonderful time. As long as you're up for the adventure, go for it! In fact I had a free ticket for a famous Broadway musical at that time but I bought a ticket for Accomplice instead and I don't regret it!

Fun way to see The Village

After participating in Accomplice New York with friends decided to try the Village with our spouses. Even though we had an inkling of what to expect, it was still very enjoyable. The actors are wonderful and it's a great way to explore the Village.

An amazing day

My husband and I did the NY Accomplice two years ago and this year brought our neighbors for the Village experience. We were paired with 4 other out-of-town visitors and fun was had by all. The actors were amazing and the story line kept us moving and guessing. Thanks for the creation of such a great experience.

Great event!

My group wholly enjoyed this event. My betrothed and I, visiting from Chicago, went with my sister and brother-in-law, NYC area residents. Our group included two NYC residents and a Colombian couple from Washington, D.C. The group in front of us had kids that looked around 10-12. Out of consideration for other participants, I would only recommend doing that if you have a solid group of eight. As a couple on vacation without kids, I would have been irritated if I paid for tickets to this tour, which included several bars and some sexual innuendo, and it had to be modified to make it child appropriate. I love kids, but there is a time and place for everything and this tour is definitely more adult friendly. It started out slow, but it really picked up after the second or third "event" (don't want to give too much away!). It was a really nice walking tour of Greenwich Village without the traditional tour guide setup. Plus, it ended in a bar with cheap drink specials and we were able to stick around for awhile and talk to the creator, who provided some really great background information. It was nice...do it and remember to have fun!
