interesting and differerent

great way to walk around the streets of new york and see buildings/restaurants/ areas that are lovely. (even if you are a native!) The story itself was abit convoluted. I'd like to see a more intriguing play. However it is great for kids. My 9 year old son loved it. and I would definately take him and his brother to see accomplice new york. (we saw the village) without kids, I don't know if I would be tempted to go again. A fun family activity! thanks

another great time at accomplice, NY

my wife and I had first attended the accomplice show in lower manhattan and really enjoyed it. we had asked if the village version would be appropriate for a 12-year-old, since a couple months after that our neice would be in town. tom said the show would be fine for our neice, and indeed he was right on. this past weekend we took her to the village version and had a wonderful time once again. the story , the use of the locations , the actors, all of it so clever and engaging, it really incorporates some of the best things about nyc in a way that keeps you guessing and entertained. kudos to tom, betsy and all the wonderful folks behind accomplice: ny

This "second act" was more entertaining than challenging, but the actor's were great. All in all, it was a fantastic, fun-filled afternoon and a fabulous way to see the Village!

There's no place like Accomplice: the Village!

Another great show, with an even more eccentric group of characters! Once again we got LOST! LOL So bring a GOOD map, or know the area real well, but otherwise this event is sensational! Everything falls into place at almost the final moment and your group will let out with a round of "AWS!" Very cool. NOW get to work on a third installment! Thanks to the cast and crew and continued succces!

Totally Unique and Fun Experience

I surprised my husband for his birthday with tickets for the Accomplice: The Village. He LOVED it - we both did! We are native New Yorkers so are of course a little jaded and didn't know what to expect - but he said he couldn't have had a better gift. It was great, so thank you! We will be doing Accomplice:New York very soon as well.

Fun, multifaceted outing!!

A little history, a little intrigue, and fair amount of walking to interesting destinations. My group was composed of women from 24-50 yrs old and everyone found something to love about this adventure!! We all had a blast while afforded the luxury of each other’s company. The members of my group that were local to the city are already discussing plans for Accomplice: New York. Unfortunately we visitors will have to wait for that one! And the Accomplice staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly! Terrific adventure! Enjoy!

what to expect

We weren't sure what to expect when we showed up at the meeting place. And to be honest, for the first 10 minutes or so, we thought it might be pretty lame. I actually considered sneaking away. But I'm glad we stuck with it. Once we figured out what was going on, we were able to go with it and have fun. There are many props that you use as clues, which made it fun. Overall, it was very cleverly done. The "story" wasn't obvious until the very end. It's the kind of thing that for the rest of the day you say, "oh, NOW I get it!" The other people in our group were kind of ambivalent about the whole thing, so it might be more fun if you have your own group of friends to go with. I think it was very well written, very clever, and the characters were very entertaining. Definitely more unique than the usual touristy thing.

We talked about how fun it was for hours afterward

Our group was very skeptical at the beginning and I was the one who chose this event so I was very nervous. Within 10 minutes everyone was really getting into the groove of the walking theatre and couldn't wait to get to the next destination. We had never been to the Village and this was a great way to see it and hear so much information about it that we felt we not only had a great theatre experience, but also a guided tour of the village. I would highly recommend you give it a try, you won't be disapointed and will probably want to do another one just like it.

Another Fun Time
Sat, May 26, 07   2:30 PM Grossmmr Female 40-49 Local Couple on a Date
We were very grateful for Tom's willingness to reschedule us in light of the fact that my boyfriend tripped and broke his nose on the morning of the day we were originally scheduled to attend. Other than an excessively hot day, we had a lot of fun. We had attended Accomplice: New York this past October, however, Accomplice: The Village was sufficiently different so as not to feel repetitive. I was surprised that even as a native New Yorker, that I saw parts of the Village that I had not seen before. We would definitely recommend this to people who want to do something slightly off the beaten path but short of bungee jumping.

A lot of fun

I thoroughly enjoyed the Accomplice The Village experience. We were celebrating a friends birthday and it was a perfect mixture of interactive theatre and the NYC experience. Although all of us live in the area, each of us learned something new and will definitely re-visit some of the restaurants/bars on the tour. It was well worth it!
