It's time to do this event...like yesterday!!!!!!

This event was planned as a birthday outing for my husband with some of our close friends. I can not explain how much fun we had...just know you have to do this...if you like mystery, puzzles, seeing the sights and a hint of comedy. The actors were wonderful and friendly. Everything was planned with such detail. We especially liked meeting the actors at the end. I am already looking to book a date for Accomplice: New York.. Thanks for a great time and for making my husband's birthday a blast.

Very Good

The initial actor (Susan) sort of blew the cover for the story. She over acted and took too long to accomplish her part. We therefore became quite suspicious at the get go. Otherwise, we had a great time and the performers were excellent. They certainly knew how to interact with the group. Fun time.

A UNIQUE WAY TO LEARN ABOUT THE CITY
Sat, Feb 23, 08   3:30 PM db083178 Female 20-29 Local Group of Friends
I'M FROM JERSEY AND NEVER GO TO THE CITY B/C I ALWAYS GET LOST. THIS UNIQUE EXPERIENCE ALLOWED ME TO FAMILIARIZE MYSELF WITH SOME OF THE VILLAGE, WHILE NOT OVERWHELMING ME WITH TOO MANY STREETS. IT WAS GREAT FUN, MUCH LIKE A SCAVENGER HUNT. MY ONLY WISH WAS THAT THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE "SUSPENSE" AND "DANGER".

Slow start but exciting finish

Came across this activity during a search of tourist websites in the city. While not wanting to give anything away, the beginning of the event started off a little slow and confusing, but then picked up and became very exciting. You have to go in with an open mind and not be overly critical of the activities. Definitely recommended if you haven't been around the Village and want to see some interesting locations, both included and that you pass by.

A great change of pace

Being involved is so much better than sitting in a theater, especially on a nice day. Great for tourists to see parts of the city they would never otherwise see. Great for locals to learn about new spots. Best way to do it is to bring people without telling them that it is somewhat interactive. Pretend it's a simple tour and then play along with surprise and confusion as best you can when strange things start to happen.

Fun Family Adventure
Sat, Feb 16, 08   1:30 PM jimpeterson Male 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Our family really enjoyed this paly/tour of the Village. It's fun because you are active the entire time. It's engaging for children and adults. It gives a family an opportunity to bond through exploration and problem solving. Our family included my wife and I, our 19 year old daughter and 9 year old son. Children under the age of 9 may not enjoy this as much because it involves some walking and paying attention. My daughter thought it would be a fun activity for just young adults or teenagers. We had a ball and met some very nice people along the way.

First of all - we had a great time in the village and it is realy interesting how much a view on a street can change if you are following a mystery. Every new clue fitted, everything was perfectly organized and in the end we had a couple of drinks with new friends. I hope to be part of the bigger accomplice tour as soon as posible.

Mother & son had a blast
Sat, Feb 9, 08   3:30 PM cquigley Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Mother & son from Wisconsin were out to NY for medical treatment. We found the Accomplice: The Village listed as things to do in NY. I thought it would be a good way to see Greenwich Village. My 17 yr old son wasn't as excited, he did not want to do it. I had to beg and pled. Well, we ended up having a wonderful time. We had a mix of international people in our group. The tour was a great way to wind around the back streets of the village. We saw things we would have never noticed if we tried to tour Greenwich on our own. The actors were so much fun and did a fantastic job in their rolls. We enjoyed how they all greeted us at the end of the tour. (I think you need to be on a late tour for that) With my son’s physical disability I was afraid that the walking portion of this event maybe hard on him. There were a lot of stops and plenty of time for him to sit down and rest. We enjoyed how this event took us to all the different places. The event allows you the opportunity to make friends with the others in your group. We made friends with our teammates from Germany & England. We exchanged emails and hope to see them again. My son has been telling everyone he met that the “Accomplice: The Village” is one of those must do things in your life…. It is a Great experience. We are looking forward to participating in the summer version downtown NY. Also we heard they are going to be adding a Los Angeles Accomplice. That would be great! Do try this, you will have fun.
