totally enjoyable experience
Sat, Oct 20, 07   4:00 PM ivylneh Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
My boys (ages 12 and 15) were skeptical and almost threatened to leave when we got started, but by the end of the experience, they were all smiles and felt it was one of the best things they had done on our NYC trip. The tour was cleverly put together and was just challenging enough to make it fun but not too hard to make it discouraging. It was a great way to explore the village and go into places we probably would never have visited. The actors and actresses were great at improvising but keeping to their character. I felt our gypsy Gabriella was the best at playing her part-she had done her research. I also have to give credit to the group we were with-everyone enjoyed participating. I would recommend this to both visitors and native NYC-ers.

accomplice - great for families with teenagers

We chose to do Accomplice: The Village because I wanted to do something that my sons aged 16 and 14 would find fun and I wasn't disappointed. We didn''t really know what to expect but once it got underway we thought it was great fun. My very hard to please 14 year old laughed the whole way through and wanted to do it again the following weekend. I would say it was probably the highlight of his trip. I would highly recommend The Accomplice to anyone who is liooking to something that little bit different. It is great for families with teenagers or for groups of friends or couples.

I'm a fan

Firstly, the overall experience was fantastic. All of the actors were hilarious, friendly and very quick on their feet. We tried to throw curveball after curveball and they picked each up with ease. Everything was put together so well and I especially enjoyed talking to Betsy afterwards about how it was all put together and hearing the experience from the other side. To sum it up, I effing loved it.

A kind of scavenger hunt style mystery event
Sat, Oct 13, 07   4:00 PM Sylvia2223 Female 50-59 Local Group of Friends
Some events you enjoy and then forget, but not this one. It was very clever and fun with surprising turns of events that keep you going to solve the mystery of what happened. I went with a group of friends, which I think makes it more fun, as you're all working together. You need to go with a light-hearted, spirit of adventure. My only regret? That I can't do it again and still be surprised. I hope they continue to do more and more of these. A big thumbs up!

Great Fun with Lots of Laughs

I went in kinda knowing what to expect. Boy, was I WRONG!. IT WAS BETTER!!! The ending was SUPERB--never saw it coming! The 8 of us on the tour got to know each other and we each had our own parts in solving the puzzle. Going up to strangers to see if they were accomplices was the best. It was the best 3 hours we've ever had. Now we HAVE to do Accomplice: New York! Good times!

We were a group of 9 year old girls doing Accomplice the Village for my birthday. Each scene made us even more enthusiastic. Every few seconds another girl would say "This is the best birthday ever!" I highly recomend this to anyone who is into mysteries or is just looking for a bit of excitement.

Totally Unexpected

I don't want to say anything to give it away, but if you are fun loving, and not shy about talking to strangers this is a lot of fun. If you are not willing to step into the story and have fun, go shopping at Macy's.

Good Time

Didn't know what to expect at all. But, it was a fun time. The actors were very amusing and entertaining. They, of course, made the show. We almost felt bad because our group seemed so "dull" and dull groups must be a real challenge for your actors. Anyway, we would recommend it.

If you like surprises, discovering new places, solving mysteries, then any one of the Accomplice shows is for you. Great for locals and tourists, good for first dates or sweet 16's. We highly recommend both shows.
