Entertaining and Clever

Worth doing even if you've done the original Accomplice. The performers, as before, are skilled ad-libbers and tailor their appearances to fit different groups. Nice after-party as well if you can hang out until the tours are finished.

I really like the novelty and creativity of this tour, as it combines drama, mystery, fun, and tourist sites all in one in the 2 hour odyssey. This has been a great afternoon well spent and I wish they have this outside new york!

great plot and stops, needs more "work" /history

i've been on both in nyc now. i've enjoyed both. i have 3 recomendations though. the actors talk so much (which is great, the characters you have created are highly entertaining) and there is enough time that it is possible that there would be more time for history of the stops along the path. the greenwich village one for example. it was the 2nd one i went on, and was kinda excited that it started out with a tour guide. it would have been nice if she could have continued on with us and given us a true tour. i think tourists especially would enjoy this. though, in terms of tour, i would not enjoy easily found info. 2nd, point, i think there should be more work required of the participants. the clues should be parts of puzzles and the chararacters also parts of puzzles that require work to get to the next part, with back-up plans for those that can't get it. i.e. the emergency help phone you gave us the number for should be ringing more. 3rd, the actors shouldn't know everything that happens, and the plot should not be fixed. at a point a sort of tempo sets in. i know those are critiques, but i really did enjoy both and recommend it to friends and familly. thanks again. -chris

I normally don't want to do things like this, but I absolutely loved it! What a fun way to see a town and meet new people. Two thumbs up!

I don't want to give away the plot by saying too much about what we did but we all had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it to all. Great way to see Greenwich Village in New York for locals or tourists.

I had a great time! The actors were fanastic and enthuiastic -- everyone had great fun interacting with them and the puzzles were well put together. None of us could believe that we didn't "figure it out" before the denouement. Highly recommended.

We really thought the program was terrific but probably not foreveryone Our family enjoyed the show and the 4 other people who were in our group We all agreed that the shorter monologues were a bit better than the longer ones

My wife and I bought tickets on a whim. No idea what to expect or what it was all about. We showed up at the meet point where there were four other people. Soon thereafter we were greeted by the Accomplice "guide". Let's just say that the initial guide did a very good job making me think we made a huge mistake in buying tickets (almost too good, we were seriously considering bailing...) The funniest aspect of the "show" was I was absolutely convinced the four other people were "planted" by the show to help guide and influence us. This of course impacted my actions/reactions the entire time. Only at the end did I learn my New York paranoia got the best of me - turns out they were just on the adventure as well. Accomplice is just good fun - no deep thoughts or revelations at the end, or wondering how the world would have changed. You just roll with it, smile a lot, try to guess whose who (well at least if you're me) and yes, there is a "ah-ha" moment where the theme snaps together and you feel like a idiot for not noticing it earlier. You wander the Village with more than a vague notion of where you need to go, looking for the next item/person/thing to connect with to lead you to the next one and so on. Along the way, you get free drinks (courtesy of same unique Accomplice cohorts), free coffee and figure things out. I would recommend it, just be certain to wear shoes/clothes for the weather - whatever it may be.

Had a great time for 2 1/2 hours in the West Village trying to come up with who stole what and where and when!! I'm a native NY'er and had 3 New Jersey friends do this with me....all enjoyed it.... Would like now to see what the other Accomplise NY is about and how different it is!
