I had gone on Accomplice NY in the summer and loved it. I had friends visiting and we decided to do this one. I was not disappointed. The actors were wonderful and we all had a great time. I expected to not like this one as much as the other one but it was every bit as good. I wish they had more sites in NY. I'd go again.

We all enjoyed our Accompice experience. The "characters" that we met along the way were responsive and inventive. It was truly a great afternoon. I would recommend it highly.

This is an experience you'll never forget. It is a fantastic way to explore the Village. Make sure to bring a map in case your party doesn't have a native in it. I can't say much more than it was simply amazing without ruining the surprises, but trust me...you'll like the surprises!

Couple on a Date |
This was really fun. Took my husband for his birthday -- had been looking for something different to do. And this did not disappoint. It was really funny, charming and cleverly put together. We highly recommend it for a different kind of experience. The character's patter was sometimes a bit too long (and a little bit lame....even though the overall writing was good, they should help the actors with bits they can do so it doesn't seem drawn out at some of the stops), but we understood that they needed to keep a certain pace since individual groups may be faster/slower. But you could not question the commitment of the actors. One note, you need to be sociable to enjoy this and you should get into it if you want to have fun. We had one southern "gentlemen" with us who was a pill throughout. (So much for New Yorkers being rude and southerners being polite). If it is not for you, leave the group or don't buy tickets in the first place. If you can't be courteous for the sake of the fellow guests, please respect the actors. I'm sure they'd rather be on Broadway or winning Oscars, but they gave 100% to their characters and they were great. We loved them and the creators as well. You could see this was not only well thought out, but had a lot of energy and and sincere desire to entertain and give you a unique experience. You should go! We'll be doing the other one -- once it gets warmer.

Worth doing even if you've done the original Accomplice. The performers, as before, are skilled ad-libbers and tailor their appearances to fit different groups. Nice after-party as well if you can hang out until the tours are finished.

i've been on both in nyc now. i've enjoyed both. i have 3 recomendations though. the actors talk so much (which is great, the characters you have created are highly entertaining) and there is enough time that it is possible that there would be more time for history of the stops along the path. the greenwich village one for example. it was the 2nd one i went on, and was kinda excited that it started out with a tour guide. it would have been nice if she could have continued on with us and given us a true tour. i think tourists especially would enjoy this. though, in terms of tour, i would not enjoy easily found info. 2nd, point, i think there should be more work required of the participants. the clues should be parts of puzzles and the chararacters also parts of puzzles that require work to get to the next part, with back-up plans for those that can't get it. i.e. the emergency help phone you gave us the number for should be ringing more. 3rd, the actors shouldn't know everything that happens, and the plot should not be fixed. at a point a sort of tempo sets in. i know those are critiques, but i really did enjoy both and recommend it to friends and familly. thanks again. -chris
