| Can't really review the event without giving away deatils and THAT would ruin the whole thing. Simply put, this is the best entertainment and was great for the all of us to spend time together.
Thanks to all at Accomlice, just great. |

| I am so not the right audience for Accomplice: New York because I really don't enjoy interacting with people who are "in character" as characters other than themselves. Unfortunately, that's what Accomplice: New York turned out to be, which is something that I'd have known if I'd bothered to read the material on the web site -- or even the review that my daughter brought to my attention.
Because I'm not really the right sort of audience member for this sort of theatre-on-the-street, I felt pretty uncomfortable when having to interact with the various fictional characters. However, the actors' performances seemed campy, engaging and fun; the performers gave off vibes that made them seem nice -- even when they were supposed to be tough characters -- and everyone seemed to want to engage the audience members / tourists. In fact, everyone else on my tour seemed to be having a great time, including my daughter. And parts of the tour did seem surprising and original.
I had been interested in Accomplice: New York because of its promise to us sights that we as tourists might not ordinarily see. On that count, the tour succeeded pretty well, although the actual number of identifiable "spots" were few and (this is a strength) obscure. I will tell you that, when my daughter and I found ourselves in unfamiliar territory two days later, we were able to find our ways back to familiar neighborhoods and the subway by retracing the path from the tour -- a real boon that made the experience worth the money in my book. |

| Great fun, What a great way to spend the afternoon! The players were great at their craft and very very cleverly done. Everyone in the group was involved and had fun. This was the coolest thing I have been to in a long time. If you don't have a good time then there is no hope for you. I couldn't wait to see what was in store at the next location. I can't wait to do the one in the Village. |

| We had a family group of 12, only 2 of which were from NYC. Actors and storyline were highly entertaining, complemented by some great settings (bars/restaurants/etc) to give a flavor of the many different neighborhoods around southern part of Manhattan for those who were not from the city. |

| Wouldn't recommend for older people, as a lot of walking... But thought the cast was excellent, and thought that the overall show was a great experience... |

| We were a diverse group (2 English couples from London, two local couples, and the 3 of us 70,69 and 36y). We met a very funny guy and then we strolled through different streets, bars, curiosities solving a riddles, look ing for building landmarks through pictures as clues, decoding secret messages, etc...At every step we were met by very funny characters full of humour. We laugh a lot and saw a lot . In short a wonderful afternoon. |

| I was excited to do this show after my wife found it online. It was mysterious and I was expecting a day full of espionage. As we were waiting for our contact, I was watching EVERYONE. We kept pointing out people we thought were in on it. That alone I thought would make this a great day; not knowing who was in on it and who was. Well.... It's not long before you figure it out. The characters are SO over the top and WAY overacted. That kind of thing might be good for a tourist, but even the people in our group from the midwest were cringing at the cheese factor. All of the actors were very nice, very accomodating, but with the exception of one at the end, very cheesy and almost unbearable. There really was no adrenaline, no mystery, no excitement. There was a great walking tour of Little Italy and Chinatown, but that was the extent of it. I won't give up any secrets, but I really wanted this to work and it just doesn't. I like the idea, but we spent the day figuring out ways to do it better. That's not what I expected to get out of the price. |

| Eight friends of mine and I went to NY to do Accomplice as a birthday present for one of our friends. When we were planning this activity, we gave Accomplice a bunch of info about our birthday boy and a few private jokes about him. We asked them to customize the show and try to include as much of the info as they could in order to make the show more special for us.
They incorporated absolutely EVERYTHING and made the show even more special than it already was. It was a lot of fun. |
