Great way to spend a day in NYC
Sat, Jul 22, 06   2:30 PM sher217 Female 40-49 Local Couple on a Date
Much more than I ever expected. The adventure was well thought out and very creative. The actors were great, and the group I was with made it very fun and enjoyable. I bought tickets for my boyfriends birthday and told him nothing so it would be a surprise. He had a blast...I would totally recommend this to locals as well as visitors.

What To Do with Young Adult Children!
Sat, Jul 22, 06   2:30 PM JaneYen Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
I got plenty of rolled eyes when I tried to explain the activity to my "cool" twenty something children. They thought it was just another wacky "mom" idea that they would have to suffer through. NOT SO!! They had a blast! The actors are great, the surprises are totally fun and the whole experience is now appropriately filed under "I told you so"! This is incredibly well thought out and executed, which we kept remarking on the next day. I only wish there had been some way to applaud the the whole group!

Accomplice: New York is such a fun experience. My friends and I are always looking for something fun and not too expensive to do in the city. This was a great way to see the city and have a great time. We got to see areas we don't normally see, and the actors were hilarious. I haven't stopped talking about it since, and can't wait for part two.

Creative, fun, surprising. A wonderful way to explore parts of Manhattan with a group of many ages. All done with a great sense of adventure.

Cute show

I went to the show with my husband and sister. We're all just over 30 and have only been to NYC a few times. We were all a little let down to find out the rest of our group was one big family- grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, and two boys about 10/12 yrs old. Very nice family but you could tell the actors censored themselves as we went along to clean it up for the kids and only the dad and the kids really participated. I think the show would have been much more fun if we had been paired with a couple of smaller groups or singles in our age group. There is alot of walking in this show as you go from the seaport through Chinatown and Little Italy, so wear your walking shoes. I loved the idea of this show and most of the actors were very funny and engaging. We lost momentum a few times though, and by the end most of our group was ready to go. (I'm not sure if this was due to our mismatched group or if the show is just a little too long.) We did enjoy this show. It was a great way to see some classic NY sights and neighborhoods and it was fun figuring out the clues and finding our "contacts" in the city. However, the group you're in definately impacts the kind of experience you're going to have so unless you are going as a group of 8, it's a crap shoot.

Wow, we had agreat time. I took a group of friends for my Birthday. We had fun. It drizzled a little , but some of our group thought it added to the game. Definitely something different to do for a Birthday. .

should have smaller groups and no time limit

it would have been better if it was just our family instead of being with strangers. We have 2 teens so it would have been a more teamwork experience for our family. Also, i don't like a time limit because we couldn't stop and look at things, explore things that caught our attention. It's more of an out of the box dinner theatre mystery than a tour of seeing NY. It seems like the one girl in our group was a plant for the performing company because she kept hurrying us along.

We would reccommend accomplice NY to everyone. My children thought it was the best part of our trip to NY. We look forward to the new adventure when it becomes available.

This do-it-yourself theatrical scavenger hunt is a blast. Some of us were from New York & some were visiting, and we all had a great time. Don't want to spoil the experience by describing it, but it's like the most fun game you could play at summer camp, only you're an adult and you haven't played around like this in a long, long time.

What an awesome way to flit and flee through fun neighborhoods and districts. The clues and actors were great fun and at times hysterical.
