Mission Accomplished....

Accomplice New York is a great activity. I enjoyed seeing a part of Manhattan that I don't normally travel to, even though I live nearby in New Jersey. I would definitely recommend this activity. However, based on my experience, I have a few help hints/cautions. 1. If you are not used to walking long distances at a brisk speed, this is not the activity for you. I would not recommend this activity for people who are over 60 years of age (sorry, but one of the participants stated that they hoped the group walked slow; the person looked over 60). I also don't recommend this activity for people under 18. We had two 16 year olds who looked absolutely bored. The jokes were also over their heads. I know when I was 16, this would not have been a big excitement for me. Plus, alcohol is served, with option of course of getting soda. It appeared that people were hesitant to drink in front of the 16 year olds; I wasn't. Twenty-one and over might be better. 2. Don't go shopping ahead of time and bring your shopping bag with you. It will not only slow you down, but it will slow the group down. 3. Everyone needs to participate. Eight to eleven minds are better at figuring out a puzzle than 5 minds. We were late because we needed to go back and look at a clue. Yes we could have called the number, but for some reason we didn't. If you don't participate, you should not also then complain that you did not see the clue. 4. Finally, try to interact with the actors. That makes it more fun for everyone. You don't have to give an Oscar worthy performance, just listen and respond. Also, you should read the website before you go. Again, I would definitely recommend this activity. You may want to go with a group of people you already know (a fun group that is) or you can go by yourself. It was well worth the afternoon trip into NYC. Again,

Really enjoyed it. The performances were excellent, the plot well thought through and all in all a good experience.

I had heard about the accomplice ny game from a business partner and it sounded intriguing... little did I know that the $50 I spent on the game was probably the best $50 I've spent in NY. The game was exciting, the company was great and the time passed by so quickly. I would def recommend this to anyone who likes trivia games, is a fan of the amazing race or trivial pursuit.

A great way to spend the day in New York!

I think the best thing about Accomplice is that you really get to cover a large portion of downtown Manhattan and have a lot of fun doing it. Going by myself, I was a little hesitant but there were great people in my group. The clues you are given to guide you throughout lower Manhattan are cleverly thought out and require some brainwork! Early on, we were thrown for a loop with trying to find one of the destinations, and it was at that point I knew this activity was going to be great. I would recommend this to anyone with a sense of adventure, anyone who likes to walk (it is a 3 hour tour!), and anyone who wants to just have an afternoon of discovering new places and new people. It doesn't matter if you are familiar with the city or not, you will have a great time!

too expensive

Aside from the initial connection-person being 15 minutes late, the adventure included too many people - 12 instead of the usual 8 - because the connection never showed up at all for the earlier gig. Following the clues did indeed take us through interesting areas but in no way was this worth $50 to me.

Great for locals and tourists

Accomplice is a fun mix of interactive theater, walking tour, and scavenger hunt. For tourists, it's a great way to see some highlights of NYC. For locals, it's an entertaining way to spend a few hours outdoors. The actors at each stop really make the experience come alive, and their act feels fresh especially when they improv. Only possible negative is that your experience depends on the group you're in. Groups are small, so how much the others get into it (or reject the concept) will impact everyone's enjoyment. There's a lot of potential here for private catered groups (if you book as a group of coworkers, family members, etc.) or even as a singles event.

GREAT WAY TO SPEND AN AFTERNOON!

THE CHARACTERS WERE TERRIFIC! MADE IT FUN AND INTERESTING. GOT TO SEE PARTS OF THE CITY, NOT ALWAYS COVERED. PRICE IS RIGHT-NICE DIVERSION FROM THE $100 SEATS. WE ARE COMING BACK IN APRIL AND PLAN ON SENDING THE OTHERS TO THE ACCOMPLICE AND TRYING SOME OF THE OTHER CHOICES. TOO FUNNY! ALSO, LOOKS LIKE A FUN ACTING JOB...MAYBE THERE SHOULD BE MORE THAN 1 COPY OF THE CLUES, WE HAD SOME LADIES WHO TOOK THE CLUES AND KIND OF TRIED (AND FAILED) TO BE THE LEADERS..BUT WITH SHY PEOPLE THEY COULD RUN AHEAD INSTEAD OF MINGLING, SOME COULD GET LEFT OUT. FOR US..WE STRAIGHTENED THEM OUT! :) THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY. CHRISTINE HUGHES

Terrific way to experience downtown NYC

Accomplice, on one level, is a brilliantly "scripted" play performed by uber-talented actors and gorgeous actresses. On another level, Accomplice allows you to experience downtown Manhattan, including quirky little spots that even the natives miss. These talented performers act as narrators, guiding you through City as you live out your Sopranos-like fantasies while helping out the infamous Don Salamone. Did I mention, it is fun? Accomplice isn't just a stuffy play--it is so much fun! I'm hesitant to reveal too many plot details, but the magic of Accomplice is that the plot differs each performance as the variety of downtown Manhattan ensures that each showing is unique. I would most enthusiastically recommend Accomplice for all ages (the cast varies each show based on the audience), and for native New Yorkers and tourists alike. My afternoon as an accomplice was truly one of my favorite times in New York City.
