All depends on the group.

First off - my family and I had a great time with this adventure. We thought the concept was clever and a very different approach to entertainment. The only complaint was not necessarily your fault. We were a group of four and you back-filled with six more people (understanding that you target a group of ten). The problem was that these people were from other countries and were the most boring people we’ve ever met! We were referred to you by a teacher from our children’s school who took a field trip to NY a few months back. There were two teachers and eight teenage students in the group who had the best time with it. And I can see with the right group how the experience can be enhanced. I feel my family and I are very outgoing and fun to be around but we were trying to make the best of the situation. We felt we were “holding ourselves back” trying to include the other six participants. I will recommend this event to other people, only if they have the majority of the ten in the party. Otherwise, it could be “pot luck”…

This was a great experience. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes the ins and outs of NYC and has a bit of adventure in them.

A fun and exciting way to see NYC!

I frequently have visitors from out of town so I'm always trying to come up with new ways to entertain them. I saw Doogie Hauser on Live with Regis and Kelly and he highly recommended Accomplice New York. I wasn't sure what I was getting into and was pleasantly surprised at how well organzied it was and also fun for me (a local) as well as my out of town guest. It's a great way to see parts of the City that one might not visit on a frequent basis. Accomplice was entertaining and a ton of fun! We were paired with a great group of people (10 including us) which really made the experience so enjoyable. My only criticism is that the website isn't clear that there are TWO Accomplice options. At the very bottom of the website it shows you an option for Accomplice West Village. I think a better idea would be for it to be one of the options at the top of the page so when you try to click on tickets, it asks you for which location.

Entertaining and Adventurous Interactive Theater

7 friends and I participated in the Accomplice on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and had a great experience! Prior to the event, there were skeptics in the group, and at the end of the day, everyone raved about it. This is a great way to enjoy the city from a local's point of view. Be prepared to have fun, laugh and wear very comfy shoes for all of the walking involved. I highly recommend this interactive theater.

Plus a few minuses

Loved the concept; a little uncomfortable with the message participants were to deliver. (You never know who's in the crowd). Actors were great. I believe we were the last stragglers on a damp day and they were all still up and enthusiastic. Now for the nays--I think snacks along the way were part of the ticket offering, and by that time, anticipated. The addition of some small paper plates would have been appreciated. At the end of our trek, I say give 'em key chains with a plastic Manhattan charm or something. Everybody likes a little token something. I hope I don't come across as persnickety. I really enjoyed it far more than one of those "mystery dinner" things because of the active participation.

What a Blast!!

We had the best time! Our group consisted of two families with teenagers, and everyone had a blast! We saw lots of sights of New York that we would not have normally seen. The teens really enjoyed figuring out the clues. The scripting of the search was brilliant! I will recommend to all of my friends who will be visiting New York!

If you have an afternoon of reasonable weather to walk around the city with some adventurous friends, do this! would be great for visitors too. Its a fun game, and not bungee-jumping exciting, but invigorating, if you like talking with people you don't know to figure out if they are in the game, and if you like laughing with your friends, you'll dig it.

Makes you look at everyone as an Accomplice!

This entertainment offers a host of characters that had us laughing all the way through our "tour" of lower Manhattan. All of sudden you look at everyone on the street and ask, "Are they a part of this?" Even people in my group thought I was a "mole". I saw things and visited places that I had never seen before, and the Accomplice actors were on the top of their game. Good adlibs had my nephews laughing quite a bit. At 17 & 18 years old, they can be a hard audience to please, but they loved the set up, the food and the characters that we met along the way. It could have been more interactive in the beginning- some things were too easy to discover- but the cast made up for it as we progressed on our adventure. The less you know the better- just go for the fun!
