You have to do this!

Not knowing what to expect was exciting and thrilling. Figuring out clues that were not necessarily given in order was constantly debated among our group. The actors were funny and quick witted since we tried hard to knock them out of character. We even had talks along the way with random New Yorkers . The places we visited and the sights we saw were an added bonus. Lots of walking, wear comforable shoes. Bringing our own group was great. I don't reccomend it for children. Teenagers may enjoy the challenge though. It was an overall fantastic and unique day we'll remember for a long time. Great bonding time among friends too! Don't wait...book today!

If you have an afternoon of reasonable weather to walk around the city with some adventurous friends, do this! would be great for visitors too. Its a fun game, and not bungee-jumping exciting, but invigorating, if you like talking with people you don't know to figure out if they are in the game, and if you like laughing with your friends, you'll dig it.

Excellent tour

An excellent tour through the street of China town and little Italy. Also for non-New Yorkers this accomplice gives a very good opportunity to see different places in NY. I can highly recommend this and we will surely take part in the village tour the next time we will be in New York.

Would have been a blast, but our group was a dud

I took my husband to this event and was very excited about the premise. When we got there, we met up with two ladies and their four kids combined. The kids were obviously not into it and ended up spoiling the whole experience. Credit to the people running the show - they tried their best to get them engaged and eventually two out of the four teenagers were half-heartedly into it. The worst was that they needed a bathroom break, which lasted an 1/2 hour, and coupled with the slow pace of the group, we ended up being about 40 mins behind and some of what we should have experienced had to be cut due to timing. The mothers were nice enough, but the kids should have been left home. They were so blatantly annoyed at even having to participate. That being said, I think we would have had a blast had it not been for the rest of our group. I'd recommend it, but strongly suggest bringing your own group. Even more important, don't try to force it on anyone (especially kids and teenagers). You have to be willing to go with the flow and work with the cast. If you do, the cast will see to it that you have a good time. Hopefully, we can get a chance to go to the one in the Village and get lucky enough to have a better group.

Great fun way to see NY

We had a great time at Accomplice NY - we were a group of friends gathered from different parts of the world for a birthday celebration, and it gave us an opportunity to have great catch up chats while walking, enjoying an (often hilarious) theatrical experience, and seeing parts of NY that we never would have been to.

Lots of fun and laughs!

This was our Summer Staff Outing and we had a blast. It was entertaining, enjoyable, well organized and we laughed all day. The actors were great and the concept was innovative. Our whole group was completely immersed in solving the clues. They had no idea what we were doing (it's a different type of event each year)....and I think this one was the best yet. Can't imagine how I'll top this next year!

Something sooooo different
Sat, Aug 9, 08   1:30 PM Momo63 Female 40-49 Local Group of Friends
Group of five women who get together every summer to spend a weekend in the city and see a show, this time we chose something a little different and did we choose right! What a BLAST! Accomplice:New York was recommended by a friend and we had no idea what to expect, which I think makes it even more fun. Our group consisted of 4 additional people and they were great to work with, we all had a good time. Will probably do Accomplice the Village in the future with our husbands.

I was late and missed it :-)

Hey, folks, This is just to confirm that, if you're late, you'll miss the event. It was a combination of factors: first, they called me and rescheduled the activity (I had originally bought tickets for Accomplice Village). I didn't know well the second venue (which I am not going to disclose so that I don't spoil whatever can't be spoiled). "Accomplice" was very nice to call me and set the mood, everything was very nice. And then I completely miscalculated the distance between the subway and the actual venue. I was 10 minutes late. And saw no one. I didn't call to complain because it was all my fault. But I wonder how often this happens... Respectfully submitted, A tourist from a red state :-)
