Having lived in the city for years, I was surprised how much I saw for the first time during this little romp through downtown Manhattan. The show is fantastic, the logistics are artful, and it was perhaps the most worthwhile "touristy" NYC activity we have ever taken part in, including Broadway shows and great meals. Can't say enough!

The "show" is part scavenger hunt and part theatre. It's full of surprises and super fun and a great way to explore lower manhattan. The whole thing starts with a telephone call from a hoarsely voice a day before the scheduled show... no further details will be revealed in order not to spoil the fun event... The surprises and actors are hysterical - you laugh the whole way through... You must experience it on your own... During my next stay in NYC I will have to do the Greenwich Village show. Hope this kind of show will come to Europe.. Here are many scavenger hunters ;-)

There was a lot of walking on the Sunday program. Luckily, I was prepared. I have already told a number of friends that they should book it. Our group of 6 had a fabulous time. A very unique experience.

I t was incredible to go through NYC in such a raw manner. I loved how we walked around town for several hours without having to get on a cheesy tourist bus. It gave a true sense of what life was like in the big city.

My advice to you - Go with a group of friends!!! My wife and I went on this tour with two other strangers that had no clue as to what was going on. They had never heard of Accomplice and thought they were taking a "normal tour" through Greenwich Village. Not only did they take in everything as if these were real people and not actors, they were ignorantly combative and lacked enthusiasm throughout the process. Ugh!! However the cast was awesome!!!! In retrospect I would have liked to do the Accomplice: New York. The premise/story to that one about "The Mob" sounds a lot more interesting than the Greenwich Village tour, which was kind of lame. Overall I would do another Accomplice Tour - just not this one.

I had the best time, going through Lower Manhattan, Chinatown and Little Italy!! I was with my sister and a friend and we got into it right away, everything was clever, well thought out, well planed and the ending was hilarious!! I highly recommend it!! Have fun guys

We have been to both the New York Accomplice and the Village Accomplice. I liked the Village accomplice and had a wonderful time. Not as much walking as the NY accomplice but I enjoyed NY Accomplice a little more than the Village. Don't get me wrong, the Village was fun and exciting but I still preferred the NY Accomplice because there was more interaction with finding the people on the street and solving puzzles etc. going through little Italy, China town and Bridge area was exciting. I would definitely recommend the Village also.

This is a fun way to spend a day in NYC. It's like being part of a crime show or treasure hunt, following clues as you get to explore lower manhattan. we brought out of town visitors, who loved it.

The actors were fun, the host at the first bar was very entertaining and engaging, the second place was a welcomed, relaxing treat; the activities kept us involved...I will definitely be doing the Village Accomplice next!

The afternoon was fun, no doubt. We recommend it for native speakers, as it definitely helps to know what's going on. There is somewhat less emphasis on the surroundings, and the game seemed a bit easier - not much discussion needed as to where to go next or what to do or who the next contact would be. You're walking 20 blocks or so total. For out of towners who don't know the area, we recommend to get lunch before you take the subway to Houston station.

There were three separate groups to make up a team of 8. Everyone got involved which was nice and it seemed that each person had a good time. The only change could be the ending. The actors playing the various characters were great . I don't think any of us figured out the theme until the end.

I've played other Alternate Reality Games, but this is the first one I've played where the actors aren't just some random guys, but are actual trained and experienced actors. It makes a huge difference.

I read good reviews about this thing, but I never believe them until I do it. Can't say much about it without ruining it for you except that it was fun fun fun. You have to be ready to get into it and go with the flow. If you are with your own group or with strangers, it will still be a good time.
