This was a fun afternoon. I would recommend it for anyone who is willing to "suspend their disbelief" for several hours of puzzle solving. It involves walking but is not strenuous, and I liked being exposed to different areas of the Village that I hadn't been to before. Our group ended up with six people - our three plus another group of three. This seemed like the perfect size to keep things moving at a reasonable pace. Well done - I would definitely recommend it for something different to do in NY!

Out of our group of 9, we had 2 party poopers. If we had had a higher pooper to participant ratio, the experience might have been a bust. I think the 7 of us who were engaged, had a great time and we now have friends from New Zealand. I have recommended Accomplice to many friends and told the concierge at our hotel to look it up all with the aside that you have to participate to have a good time!

What fun. This was a great way to tour a New York City neighborhood with an extra kick of fun. This was my second time to take the tour and I was on the hook for recommending it to seven other friends. They were not disappointed and I got all the credit. Go. You will be glad you did.

After hearing about Accomplice through interviews with Neil Patrick Harris I was intrigued. I really liked the whole cloak and dagger feel of the experience and all the actors did a great job of sticking in character all day. I plan to go try out their Village experience and bring some of the guys from work.

We had a wonderful time! Everyone enjoyed it; our young kids and our teenagers, it was appropriate for all ages. We are looking forward to trying The Accomplice the village!

As a Bostonian, I've traveled to NYC on many a weekend to see friends and enjoy all that the city has to offer. This particular weekend I was meeting friends from Australia. Upon recommendation from a mutual friend who lives in NJ but spends a lot of time in the city, we booked the Accomplice as the finale to our weekend. It was the perfect ending!! From the minute I got the call telling us where to meet to the final destination, the Accomplice kept us on our toes, entertained and engrossed! It was the most interactive tour of the city I've ever had - and also the funniest! The messengers were all fantastic and very convincing! I forgot it was a game at some points - which is attributed to my overactive imagination and the highly skilled acts of the messengers. I have already recommended The Accomplice to friends who are traveling to the city this weekend and will continue to spread the word! My only piece of advice - start one in Boston!! :)

Our group had a blast! The actors were excellent and hysterical! We saw so many different parts of downtown that we would not have seen otherwise. It was much better than making our 10-year-old sit through a Broadway show, asking "When's it over?" over and over.

Accomplice NY is a great experience, full of mystery and secrecy. We felt like we were in a movie or an adventurous spy book. My fiance and I are locals and we just came as a pair, it was great. The group that we were in made it so much fun. Thank you. The Accomplice customer service were also outstanding, because we were able to reschedule our original date right away. We are looking forward to do another Accomplice. Thanks Accomplice, for such a fun time!!!Love it!! We recommend this to anyone, tourist or locals.

I had a wonderful time on The Accomplice: New York and will highly recommend it to anyone visiting the New York area. It was the perfect way to see parts of New York while solving puzzles and making new friends!

My friend and I chose this because we wanted to see a "show" while we were in NYC, but our husbands had no interest in sitting in a theater for 3 hours. Needless to say, they had a blast! The actors were great and very entertaining! Would definitely do "The Village" next time we visit!

While I enjoyed the experience I would have had more fun with a different group of people. The group cheated during some of the challenges. Make sure that you do not let others use the internet on the phone to solve the clues. Each clue can be solved without the help of the internet. Great idea and get to walk through parts of New York that I have not been to before.

Overall, this was a great experience. Smart, well thought out, random fun. However, you are at the mercy of your group members...and the shoes you wore. This should definitely be labeled a walking tour and people should dress appropriately.
Over-rated Accomplice: The Village

Maybe Accomplice NYC is better...but we just bar-hopped and tried to guess some clues. Cons: i) The clues were not as challenging as they would be in a scavenger hunt. We guessed almost each in a min or so. ii) From the first instant you realize that everything is theatrical. So, you hope to see some good actors. But, only one of them was genuinely funny. iii) All the action took place in bars and coffee shops. And we could hop from one to another in 5 minutes. It'd have been better had we been in the open, confused, running here and there, etc. Not sure who to contact, etc. iv) Lack of historical places. Pros: i) You get to meet new people ii) The concept is still unique. I think there might be better scavenger hunts (such as some that are being held in the Met).

This was a really enjoyable way to spend a few hours. We could have gone on for many more hours without a blink. Our group wasn't overly dynamic and yet it was still a blast. The acting was great and it was not one bit dorky (which many of the participatory events tend to be). We highly recommend this.
