Great way to spend a day downtown Accomplice: New York

As a former NYC native this was a great way to re-explore downtown with my Miamian girlfriend. Accomplice makes for a great day for both natives and tourists. The only requirements are a willingness and ability to do some light walking, and being able to enjoy yourself in somewhat unpredictable situations. The tasks aren't particularly strenuous physically or mentally, so anyone willing to have some fun will be up to the challenges. It's a little like dinner theatre crossed with a scavenger hunt all taking place in the thick of downtown Manhattan craziness.

people... this is definately the best tour of downtown thats not a tour. i saw more new things of nyc in this tour than i have in 25 years of living in the area. This is definately the best things i've done in nyc ever. DO IT

Should be told you won't end where you start before one starts out.We drove in had a hard time parking and then at the end of the day walked back to the start. You could have included more questions about historic or tourist sites in your clues to make people more aware where they were in the city. espically between the start and the bridge. One more snack or drink in the middle would have been nice . We started at 3:30 and were with people we didn"t know so it was hard to stop along the way without loosing the group. It was hot and water or a soda at th epark would havebeen appriecated. We were a group of five ages 66 to37 and we all had a great time.

We had a blast! The acting was phenomenal. The storyline was inspired. A moderate amount of walking is required, and you should note that you do not end up where you start. If you plan on driving and parking, plan to cab it back to your car. I would recommend this to locals and/or people who frequently travel to Manhattan. You do not get a "tour" of lower Manhattan, so certain areas would need to be revisited if you are a true tourist. If you are not familiar with Manhattan, you should bring a map with you for additional reference.

My husband and I had heard a little bit about Accomplice but it in no way prepared us for the adventure and great time we had. The characters and strangers we encountered were fascinating and talented. We saw and experienced more of New York in a couple of hours than we could have on our own in days. Accomplice New York was the high light of our trip. It is so clever and full of great surprises!

We loved accomplice new york. It was such an exciting present for my boyfriend and we just loved it! I can't wait until the sequel. I've already recommended Accomplice to my friends and family. I'd recommed it for a date and also for a group of friends just to go and have a good time. Even as a downtown manhattanite I was still surprised by some of the activities and locations

This activity is original and well executed. Truly a rare bargin in NYC. Most theatre puts me to sleep this didn't. Great weather certainly didn't hurt our experience.

I can't say enough about our experience with Accomplice. We had such a great time. Our group included me, my parents, my Mom's brothers and their wives, and another couple we did not know. My parents gave me the NYC trip for my 30th b-day, and told me to pick out a Broadway show. I happened to read about The Accomplice on an off-off Broadway website. I am THRILLED that I chose to do this! We all had an absolute blast! I knew the actors were good when they never missed a beat with our rowdy, loud, (always tipsy) crowd. We saw parts of NY that we never would have seen, met incredible people, and ate delicious food. I was nervous that my uncle and his wife would think it was a little lame, considering they travel all over the world and are desperate to do The Amazing Race, but they are STILL talking about it. Not to mention this was a great bonding experience for our family to share together. Hats off to the entire Accomplice team! This is a great concept, and I wish you all much success in the future. If you ever want to expand to other cities, we would love to see you guys in Washington, DC!!!! :)

Accomplice New York was excellent! We had a group of 11 friends and we were very unsure of what to expect. It was the best time, right from the beginning. The phone call advising us where to meet really set the tone. We all laughed from beginning to end. The destinations were great as were all the adventures along the way. We saw parts of the city as we hadn't seen them before. We're looking forward to the sequel and will definitely be among the first to reserve tickets. Thanks so much for a great time!

Accomplice NY is run by a fun group with extremely entertaining actors. They seem to really enjoy what they're doing, which makes it even more fun for the participants. If you have a sense of adventure and an appreciation for the quirky and random, you'll definitely enjoy yourself. By the end you'll be exhausted, but you'll also have experienced Manhattan in an unique way. Unlike taking a tour by bus or a walking tour through the tourist neighborhoods of NY (ie Time Squares), you get to see another side of the city with Accomplic NY.
