| As a local resident of New York I felt that in terms of finding out how to get to each place was a bit easy, but I also happen to live in lower Manhattan where most of it took place. However, I feel that for tourist it would have been perfect. I would love to see another one which takes place in another neighborhood. I would definitely recommend and will go on the next one! | ||||||

| We all got involved with Accomplice... Our group was made up of friends and family but I think it would be a wonderful way to cooperate with strangers, too. | ||||||

| Accomplice exceeded our expectations. Every detail of the adventure was well attended to and the characters involved were extremely well-played. A really unique way to spend an afternoon. I will surely sign up for the next one... | ||||||

The Finest Interactive Event in New York City
|
|||||

| I have seen most of the interactive events available in the New York City, and I must say that this was by far the most riveting, inventive, and engrossing concept I have witnessed. While other interactive concepts trap you in one place and ask you only to wallow only in their world and its people, Accomplice: New York asks you to explore and question no smaller a place than New York City itself. Though familiar with NYC and downtown specifically, I felt as though I was viewing it for the first time when on the Accomplice trail. Throughout most of the journey I really felt a part of the Accomplice world and its’ people. This can only have been due to the cleverness of the clues and the brilliance of the actors. Well done! As I was also a part of the group with the two bored teenage boys, I feel compelled to say that even a teenage boy could really enjoy this experience, but if and only if his imagination can extend either beyond his own vapidity or a television screen. | ||||||

| My friends and I had an amazing time on this crazy adventure through lower Manhattan. There was just enough of a challenge to keep us thinking and engaged and all of the characters were a blast to spend time with and interact with. You really get your moneys worth on this with the food and drinks and the amount of personal attention each character spends with you. The actors had all created different and unique characters and their back stories and conversations really drew you into their world quickly. Luckily for us, the two teenage boys and the adult woman with them, who were very rude to the actors and were bringing down the experience for everyone in the group, left the game almost immediately after it began. This allowed us to fully enjoy it without their snide and judging comments, which tried to remove us as well as the actors from the world of Accomplice, and not have to speed through what should be a leisurely adventure. I really hope that the creators write more of these!! | ||||||

| What seemed like a great concept (take two teenage boys on a treasure hunt through lower Manhattan while playing an interactive "game") turned into two incredibly bored teenage boys who begged me to abandon ship after we met the first "character" in this adventure. I persuaded them to stay for the next two stops, but that was all. What didn't work? The actors were not convincing (you REALLY have to buy into the concept). The pace did not move quickly enough for teenagers who are used to playing video games (nor for me, who likes to walk quickly). Plus, the others in our group were also from the interactive theater world, and they wanted to experience every single second of this adventure. The boys and I spent the next three hours exploring Chinatown and buying ninja stuff, and then headed up to Times Square so our guest from Texas could have a gander. I would NOT recommend this for teenagers. | ||||||

| My friends and I had a wonderful time, it was a lot of fun and very memorable. Although I was hesitant to spend the money, especially when I didn't know what the experience would be like, it was more than worth it! The actors were aweome, and we were completely impressed overall. | ||||||

| Group of 8 11-yr old girls. Lots of fun, lots of walking and discovering downtown Manhattan while piecing together clues. Sort of treasure hunt through interesting neighborhoods. Great new concept. Everyone loved it. | ||||||

Great event for a group - Bachelor Party
|
|||||
| Sat, Oct 15, 05 5:00 PM | Alexuma | Female | 30-39 | Local | Group of Friends | |
| We got a group of friends together for a bachelor party, and many of us didn't know each other. We had given the Accomplice NY peeps some inside scoop on the bachelor which they incorporated into the show incredibly well. It embarrassed the bachelor just the right amount and the ice amongst all of us was definitely broken. The performers were really top-notch, their characters unique and the event was very entertaining once the ball got rolling. I liked the randomness of the locations and tasks continually surprised us along the way. My ONLY criticism: although I never expected major grub, the "food" was meek in ration and difficult to nibble on while in a group "huddle." A plate of finger food would have been more appropriate. I would recommend this for anyone, especially groups. Many thanks for the memories! | ||||||
