It was fun, but could have been more fun. My biggest complaint is that the group was too big. I thought there was a limit of 6 to a group and there should be. There were 5 of us in our family group, and if we had gotten to do it by ourselves, I think we would have had a lot more fun. As it was, we had two others in our group. They were a couple from NYC, and there was a sort of tension between them and our five the whole time over who got to do what. They knew their way around the city and so took over on the directions. That took all the fun out of finding our way around. Seven is just too many to be trying to gather around an actor as he performs in hushed tones on the street, and too many for everyone to get to really feel like they are participating in the fun. We were two adults and three older teens, and it would have been alot more fun if it had just been the five of us becasue we would have been happy to sit back and let our kids do most of the decoding, etc... but as it was, they had to compete with the couple to do anything. At one point, the guy nearly tore something out of my 14 year old's hands. Up to that point, unwilling to be aggresive, she had felt left out of the fun, then, when she does try to participate, she has to fight with a guy in his thirties. Ridiculous. You should be more careful about such pairings.

Loved the concept; a little uncomfortable with the message participants were to deliver. (You never know who's in the crowd). Actors were great. I believe we were the last stragglers on a damp day and they were all still up and enthusiastic. Now for the nays--I think snacks along the way were part of the ticket offering, and by that time, anticipated. The addition of some small paper plates would have been appreciated. At the end of our trek, I say give 'em key chains with a plastic Manhattan charm or something. Everybody likes a little token something. I hope I don't come across as persnickety. I really enjoyed it far more than one of those "mystery dinner" things because of the active participation.

Are you looking for something different, intersting and creative things to do in NYC? This is what you have to do; Accomplice: NY. If you are in town, locals and out of towners, give it a try. You won't regret it. We had such a great time exploring lower Manhattan with another couple in my group. Great actors, funny as hell, well-thought out activities, lovely prizes.... it was the whole package.

Lots of fun. We travelled from Canada & wanted to see New York in a non-traditional tourist way. The Accomplice was a combination of walking tour, interactive play, cultural experience & great fun. We loved it & would recommend it to anyone from or visiting New York.

Traversing through downtown Manhattan just for the fun of it on a beautiful afternoon with good friends is an activity that I miss about being "new" to NYC. Accomplice NY gave us an opportunity to reconnect with the city, and discover places and tidbits about NYC that we were not aware of. Our group had a blast!

This review is for real. I had a hard time believing the others, since they were almost all positive, but this is such a great way to spend the evening! We were a mix of people from 31-73 years old, 6 months pregnant and all, and it was great. There are rest stops just when you need to rest, and places to use a restroom along the way. The actors were fabulous and the script is perfect. Get into it, have fun and go do it!!! A pefect way to see a fun part of Manhattan and hang out with friends.

Had a great time wandering around downtown NYC, won't get specific due to our mission. Everyone involved was great and truly imaginative. I'm looking forward to the Spring to help accomplice another story. This really is a great way for a local to spend the afternoon and for a foreigner to explore this great city.

You are truly missing out on an exciting and completely different side of New York City if you do not take part in Accomplice. Having it been organized by my teacher who took us on a trip to the city, my classmates and I had no idea what to expect. Yet days after we had gone on Accomplice: New York, we still had a smile on our face. The people we met and the places we saw were amazing and no other performance or tour could of captured this same essence. I would like to thank the cast and founder of Accomplice for providing us with this fantastic view of New York and making us laugh 'til our sides hurt. - Caroline from Munich International School

loved this...though (as locals) were ahead in time-so we took a detour to get snacks in chinatown... would love it if the first guy kept his spiel to a minimum. other than that-it was great...for locals and especially for the visitors. is a great way to explore lower manhattan (though the map was less than perfect). fun and clever idea, though it would be cool to compete with another team...

We were a group of adults with American teens, and a foreign exchange student. For all of us this was a fun way to see ethnic neighborhoods in NYC, and participate in a very well designed mystery. The fun was in the details, and the charactors were really great! The details make you think, and at times surprize you. Definately not a typical story with a typical story line and ending.

I can't tell you too much. To do so would spoil all the fun, and fun it is! Be sure to bring comfortable shoes. Our group was made up of people who did not know each other. That changed quickly. Spend the afternoon. enjoy the fun. and have a great time. Highly recommended!
