Worth the trip

The actors were excellent and full of energy, the challenge with a cloak and dagger effect makes the experience more enjoyable and worth every penny and more.

I would highly recommend Accomplice. You get to see so much of NYC and it's reasonably priced!!

Great fun!

NY Accomplice was recommended to us by friends who had a ball and can't wait to do it again. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The actors involved are really terrific and we saw sections of the city that we don't normally visit. We're planning to do the other show next spring. We thought it was going to be a LOT of walking, but it wasn't bad at all and there were "rest" opportunitites at some of the sites. It was an unusual way to spend a day in the city and a good time. Definitely recommended!

Such a unique, engaging, and fun walking tour/mystery hunt around the city! Be ready to lose yourself in the experience, and interact with the actors. You'll get a lot out of the afternoon!

The reason I won't review this is that I wrote to you with a question before attending and you did not reply.

A tourist for a day

We enjoyed Acomplice: Viilage and felt that the event was well organized. The weather was perfect and there was chemistry among the participants. The actors were great and funny. They observed the group and incorporated us into their act. Accompliced utilized local businesses as part of the stage/sets. As a New Yorker, it's always exciting to discover new local businesses. The Accomplice planners incorporated drinks/break/ bathroom stops into the story. I thought that was brillant and thoughtful. I was sad when the event ended. Had so much fun. Disappointed: didn't get to see the inside of the Flemming House. Overall it was a great opportunity to tour the city.

Great Fun!

I can't detail too much, or it will spoil the fun. Suffice to say, you will interact with a wide variety of characters, be called upon to solve a mystery with clues provided, get some refreshment along the way, and be thoroughlly entertained. You will be doing some walking, so wear comfortable shoes.

Very entertaining. In our group, a few of us thought they were just on a regular tour, so the surprises were fun to see on their faces.

a fun time with different people

My friend and I got together and had a blast with the group we were with. Ironically, I did know someone else in the group, but it was a complete surprise. It was really cool to tour the small part of NY. And the performers were hysterical. It was pretty easy to solve, but still a mystery and that was cool. I recommend it to everyone especially if you like problem solving and mystery type events.

It was fun to hang out with my friends and trek around the LES. I think a group of 6 is best , anymore people and some people dont get to participate as much. Just do it.

We had an absolute blast! We didn't know exactly what to expect when we signed up for the show, but we were *not* disappointed in any way! We saw parts of the city we would have *never* seen. It was edgy, well done and safe. I would do it again! Thanks for a great time.

We were a family with ages ranging from 17 to 80 and it was an absolute blast for all members of our group! The entire adventure was exciting and entertaining; we couldn't wait to see what was around the next corner. Hats off to the actors who were so amazingly convincing and committed to the 'game'. We highly recommend to all and look forward to doing other adventures in the future.

Bad diredtions caused us to miss it completely

We were unable to experience the Apprentice NY because of the complications resulting from the bad instructions to find the starting place. First of all, I'm sure that the caller is instructed to be “mysterious”, but it took three phone calls, two because of bad connections and then by the time the connection was OK and I figured out who it was, our limo was just arriving at Union Station in Washington DC for our Amtrak trip to NY and the caller was very snippy when I asked him to call back in 5 minutes to allow us to get out of the limo and be ready to copy down the directions. I was told, “so I'm supposed to bend to YOUR timetable?” So I scrambled to get paper and pencil to copy down the directions. Because we wanted plenty of time to consider our surroundings, we allowed extra time to arrive, but found out that the subway construction required us to exit the subway and take a shuttle bus to the location I was told on the phone call. Unfortunately for us, the ACTUAL location was blocks away and could have been more completely described by actually giving the closest street location. Because of all the travel delays that could have been anticipated by any local and the vague directions, we missed getting to the start location and started our NY trip on a terrible note. I actually planned my trip specifically to do this, so my feedback can be considered as a total zero. Co-workers had asked me to report on the experience, but I am going to have to report negatively to them also.
