Great tour

This tour was excellent! We came to Boston for the first time and we got a really got a good impression of the city. As there are quite a few smaller streets (especially in the older part of the city) you get to go places a tour bus could could probably never take you. Our guide was great too, he told us a lot about everything we saw on the tour.

I have never been on a bike tour. I had a great time. I am a pretty active person so this fit perfectly. First off the tour guide was very well informed. I learned a lot about the history of the city of Boston. The bikes were in great condition. They provided a frozen bottle of water, but I also purchased a 1.5L camelback for $29 at the bike shop (glad I did cause I finished all 1.5L and the water bottle!) There were only 4 of us besides the tour guide so we were able to get a very intimate tour. Our pace was easy, we stopped every 4-8 minutes to talk about various historical landmarks. This is a city tour so you have to be comfortable with riding in city traffic, however I live in a very rural town and I had no problems. The views were great...I would recommend this tour to any healthy individual.

Bike Boston!

My wife and I had a great time on the bike tour. We were able to see parts of Boston that we hadn't seen yet and even the places we had been to were new on a bike. It wasn't a difficult ride, though some of us were able to push a bit at the end of the day along the Charles River trail. It was well paced, the sites were well chosen, and the guide did a great job getting us all around safely. The other riders, as well as our guide, made for a lively, interesting and entertaining group. This is not really a historic tour, so if it's history you want, do that separately. Highly recommended.

The tour was about 12 miles on a bike, but it was easy riding. It felt very safe riding thru the streets of Boston. Our tour guide was great, we learned quite a few details about Boston.

We are a family of four adults that really enjoyed this tour of Boston. We thought our guide (who is not originally from Boston) to be really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The pace of the cycle was just right, my sons in their 20's enjoyed the tour as much as we did. We could not criticise this tour but if you ever get enough revenue to have helmet radio contact (so that everyone can hear really well) then that would be great. We have recommended using this company to our travel organiser, Virgin Holidays.

This bike tour was our first activity upon arriving in Boston. My husband and I along with our son (17 yrs) and daughter (19 yrs) hopped on a subway heading to Boston University to meet up with our tour guides and enjoy the day cycling. What a great way to see the city! We cycled through all the major destinations, taking note of what we would then go back to see on foot. Our guides were very knowlegable and quite humorous as they safely escorted us through the many streets of the city. A "must do" for anyone visiting Boston for the first time!

great tour for most all ages/abilities if you are at all open to biking. The guides are great and you learn things and see things that you would not ordinarily do on your own. Best way to tour this city, by far.

A great way to see the city. The bikes were good. The guides put on a good show. The routes took us to many exciting stops while avoiding most of the traffic.

My dad and I were in Boston for our first trip to Fenway and had an extra day to see the city. We didn't know what we wanted to see and found this bike tour online. WOW! What a find. The tour guides were very enthusiastic and informative. We couldn't believe how much of the city we covered in the 2.5 hour ride we took. We felt like we saw the whole city...several neighborhoods, downtown, Boston Commons, Boston Garden, riverside views, Fenway Park, the BigDig, Beacon Hill, and a tricked out 7-Eleven right by John Kerry's house to name just a few. The ride wasn't too strenuous and the guides let everyone go at their own pace. We had a couple on our ride that didn't make it up Beacon Hill, but no problem, they just walked their bikes up and the guides didn't rush anyone at any point. In all, the ride was fairly flat with some very slight climbs and well placed downhills. The bikes and helmets were very comfortable and well maintained. If you're looking to see Boston and learn about the city as well, why not get a little excercise while on your vacation? This ride is not just for bikers, anyone can do it that remembers how to ride a bike. A++ Just do it.
