| I booked this for 10AM the morning after my flight from Europe. The timing was perfect, since that's like getting up late back home. This was much better than most guided tours I've been on, since you can cover a much bigger area on a bike than on foot. Biking also created a much more relaxed atmosphere, so it was easier to ask the guides about anything connected to Boston, including beer, baseball & the Bruins. Without this tour as a starter, I could never have covered so many sights during my short (3 days) stay in Boston. |

| Sam was our tour guide. We were a total of 6 including Sam and everyone had at least an intermediate level of biking. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the tour. It was about a 12-mile ride which took us through Brookline, South End, Copley Square, Downtown Boston, the North End, Beacon Hill, the Charles River Esplanade, Fenway Park, Boston Common...oh, what else am I missing. I highly recommend! If you're scared of biking in car traffic, don't be too worried. Sam was able to keep us safe. |

| The whole experience was exceptional. Urban Adventure employees were helpful in providing the right bike for you and making sure you were comfortable. The guide was entertaining and informational. It was a great way to see the different areas of the city that you may not be able to see otherwise. I/we would highly recommend this as part of your Boston experience. |

| I had a tremendous guide and ride on an overcast day with only moderate traffic. I felt completely safe throughout as the guide placed himself between me and the traffic. Our pace was moderate and the ride was only strenuous in several hilly areas, though only for brief intervals. We rode briefly along the emerald necklace park area, in the Back Bay and South End neighborhoods of beautiful brownstones and small parks, stopped outside Fenway Park and the Christian Science compound, rode through Copley Square and stopped to see the Boston Public Library. Then on past some of the Freedom Trail sites, over oppulent Beacon Hill neighborhood and back to the bike shop through the parks along the Charles River. Later in my trip I returned to several of these sites to spend more time exploring. This was an informative and quite comprehensive introduction for a first time visitor to Boston. I'll be back, next time to rent a bike and go exploring on my own. Thanks! |

| My wife and i were up from Florida for the weekend. She wanted to go on a tour, and a friend had suggested we take a ducktour. After poking around on the internet for a bit I found this tour on a travel site. As a young, energetic couple, it seemed like a perfect fit! About halfway through, my wife pulls up next to me and says "we should probably do this every vacation", and I wholeheartedly agree.
The weather in early august was sensational, and the tour guides were funny and educational. They were very easy to talk to and have entertaining stories and facts about the area.
Great way to see the city without spending a couple hours on a bus! |
