The Urban AdvenTours 'Tour de Boston' is a great option for those looking to get a great overall introduction to Boston and Cambridge.
You will ride along the Charles River, around the North End, and onto Boston's newest edition, Four Point Channel, while you enjoy South Boston. You will discover the unique character and charm of the city up close and in person, in a way only possible by bicycle. We attempt to show the big picture, by including the traditional tourist destinations as well as the hidden gems.
This extensive tour, specifically designed to show you the overall experience of Boston, includes:
- Boston University Campus
- The Emerald Necklace
- The Esplanade and Hatch Shell
- The North End - Boston's oldest residential, Italian neighborhood
- Rose Kennedy Greenway, site of the Big Dig
- Four Point Channel, the fastest growing neighborhood in Boston
- Boston Common, and The Botanical Gardens
On this guided tour, you will also ride on paths created by America's first landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, see the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown, the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, and the revamped Seaport District. What Is Not Included?
