Great way to see Boston

My wife and I, with our 22 yo son, took the bike tour with Len as our guide. My wife is not an avid biker, but the terrain, frequent breaks, and step-by-step directions for each leg of the trip made it easy for us all, and before we knew it, we had finished a 10-12 mile ride. Len was very knowledgeable about Boston, both historically and recently. We highly recommend this company as guides for a wonderful way to see Boston. We enjoyed getting some exercise and touring "green".

Totally enjoyed this bike tour. The bikes were nice (not too fancy) and in very good shape. We took breaks for photo ops and water on regular intervals. Our tour guide was the best. He really knew the city and was able to answer any question we threw at him. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a little exercise and fresh air.

Best city tour

I have traveled the world and when in a new city, even though it's cheesy, I take a city tour. This was the first by bike. First time to Boston, first bike tour. What a nice way to see the city. We rode 11 miles in around 3 hours. Kids, grand-ma's, international couples and a newbie like me. The guides are enthusiasts and deserve many kudos. Go, enjoy.

The bike tour through Boston was the best tour I have ever taken while traveling. The guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I was the oldest person on the tour, but everyone was patient and supportive and it was a marvelous experience.

We took the Boston City View tour with Urban Adventours. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids and we all agree that the bike tour was one of the more enjoyable activites we did on our trip. Our guide was friendly and provided tidbits of history and information about the different neighborhoods. I would have liked a little more history but he did get us a peek in at Fenway! One note, their website states a stop at the North End for coffee and pastry which we did not do. We mentioned this and our guide said we could stop there on our own at the end of the tour at 2pm. We were on the 10 Am tour and my kids were counting on this stop for breakfast! I also would have liked a little more time at some of the stops such as the Boston Public Gardens and Beacon Hill to walk around, perhaps they need to add some time to the tour for stops. The bike tour was a great way to get an overview of Boston, the cycling is easy, the route is predominantly flat with a couple of short inclines. Our guide did a nice job of navigating us through city traffic and we would recommend the tour to anyone in place of sitting on a tour bus or duck-mobile!

What a wonderful ride. This was a great way to see the city without walking forever. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. With four guides we were always safe and supervised throughout the streets of Boston. What a surprise to be riding with all new bikes and gear. I think my boys would like new bikes for Christmas now that they have ridden yours. Thanks so much for a great time! The Isler Family

Great break from meeting schedule

The tour fit in nicely in a gap in scheduled midweek meetings in Boston and it was a great way to discover all the historic sights which Boston has to offer on a great Spring day. The tour guide, Greg, was knowledgable and confident in getting the small group around town and in providing many insights on the historic points of interest covered in the tour. The staff are interested in promoting more use of biking as a means of transportation in Boston and deserve to be supported for their efforts. The bikes and helmets were in excellent shape.

Only four of us...two couples - all experienced cyclists. We were treated with three guides: Garrett, Baylor, and Ben, who we understood was a guide in training. They each were very knowledgeable about Boston in different ways. A very interesting ride in that Boston is so compact, that the entire city is covered within about twelve miles. A very comfortable pace; anyone would enjoy it. Skip the duck tours and the trolleys! This is the way to see Boston! We went back later and retraced our favorite parts on foot.

I have been to Boston many times over the last ten years. The bike tour put it all together. It gave me a real understanding of the city and its neighborhoods.

Thanks to the whole team from the greeting at the door until the last sale of the sweatshirt to take home as a remembrance of the great tour. I would have like to have had a map that showed the general areas that we rode through. Ku was an absolutely delightful leader. For future, it might be good to ask people what their objectives for the tour are... ie architectural interests, history, bike routes in the city, landmarks since there is so much that could be covered in the stops along the way. I felt very safe throughout the tour...lots of care given to pacing and making sure the group stayed together. I was thrilled to see how much ground we covered and what a good sense of the city I was provided.

I would thoroughly recommend the Boston Bike Tour to anyone. It was really interesting and as well as taking in all the obvious tourist sites took in many of the other neighborhoods a visitor would not normally take in. Our guide was friendly, informative and clearly enjoyed his job. I would recommend the tour to anyone who wishes to see the city, and learn about it, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere whilst also getting in a bit of exercise.

Fantastic time - great tour

Ed was very interesting. All went very well. Loved seeing the stone houses close to the store and the South End and the North End. Nice to get down to the river. Cylcing seemed like nothing given the many breaks. Hard to believe we did 11 miles. Ed gave signals - were we supposed to do them so people could see them if they could not always see Ed? Some people had rattling chains - likely the front derailleur rubbing it, but with indexed didn't seem to be adjustable. The bikes were great though and well maintained. So glad I toured Boston this way!
