Best way to see Boston. Covered tons of areas Fenway Park, Charles River Esplanade, North End, Downtown). It was a good preview of things I wanted to go back to and explore more. Was travelling on my own for business so it was a great way to experience Boston. Highly recommend it. The biking was a leisurely pace and not challenging.

I loved it

The tour guides were friendly, incredibly informative, and made everyone feel comfortable on a bike. There was a family in my tour so the tour guides set our pace a little slower until they felt comfortable. When it started POURING with rain, they gave us the option of continuing or just going back. They even let me have a free tour since ours was so rainy! I will definately bike with these guys the next time I am in Boston!

Great Tour, Great Time

I completely enjoyed Urban Adventours bike tour of Boston. I would highly recommend this tour. I know I saw and learned more than I would have on other tours. The location was easy to get to for a first time visitor and the guides made getting started quick and easy. The tour itself was great. I attended by myself and had the opportunity to enjoy my space as well as interact with the guides and the others on the tour. The biking was relatively easy, I did "feel" it toward the end but it was a good feeling.

We caught up in no time

I would just like to say how friendly the tour guides were. I called because I was a few minutes late. One of the guides stayed back. I arrived and there was a bike ready and waiting to go. In no time at all we caught up to the group for an awesome ride/above ground tour. Thanks for the extra attention!

A great way to see a new city

I was the only one on the tour and I had a great time. I believe my tour guide was Garrett, or something like that and he was really good. The bikes are decent too for cruising the city. I had a very individual experience since the others cancelled due to the heat that day. I highly reccomend this service for anyone and his worth every penny.

I was very pleased and enjoyed every minute of the tour. I went during the second week of July and the weather was great. Sam was my tour guide and he explained everything that they we saw and made it interesting. I would recommend anyone who wants one the best tours in the town. I am from Texas so seeing and getting all that information while staying Green was fabulous. I also liked knowing that we got to see more by bike than the other tours of the city.

Recommended if you like biking or would like to go biking to places. Recommended for people who have not been on a bike for ages. The guides are very helpful.

Great but not in depth

This tour is a ton of fun if you are happy just 'seeing' boston at face value. The tour guides no what they are talking about it is canned and obvious. If you paid attention to 5th grade US History you know what they pass on to you.

Wonderful bike tour and great guides.

I took the subway to the bike shop and due to unfamiliarity with the Boston subway system, got there about 5 - 10 min late. The tour had already left. I fully expected to be told "tough luck" but instead, one of the tour guides quickly set me up witrh a bike and helmet and rode with me by a back route that allowed me to catch up with the tour at their first stop. Talk about customer service. The people from AdvenTours are terriffic and the tour and overall experience was first rate and a bargain at the price. Thanks!

Great, fun way to see Boston

I was on my own sightseeing in Boston and this was the perfect way to meet some energetic, friendly people. The weather was fine and they provided water bottles. The tour guide was young and chatty so we were all able to find out loads about the history of Boston and get some good eating out tips! There were plenty of stops to take photos and i ended up knowing my way round the city better than the person i was visiting who is living there! I highly recommend this trip.

You'll guide a tour for just one person?!!

I had a tremendous guide and ride on an overcast day with only moderate traffic. I felt completely safe throughout as the guide placed himself between me and the traffic. Our pace was moderate and the ride was only strenuous in several hilly areas, though only for brief intervals. We rode briefly along the emerald necklace park area, in the Back Bay and South End neighborhoods of beautiful brownstones and small parks, stopped outside Fenway Park and the Christian Science compound, rode through Copley Square and stopped to see the Boston Public Library. Then on past some of the Freedom Trail sites, over oppulent Beacon Hill neighborhood and back to the bike shop through the parks along the Charles River. Later in my trip I returned to several of these sites to spend more time exploring. This was an informative and quite comprehensive introduction for a first time visitor to Boston. I'll be back, next time to rent a bike and go exploring on my own. Thanks!

Nice Tour

Lovely tour, recommended, learnt plenty with a good guide, nice to get a little excercise. Things that could be better: comfy gel type saddles (I ride a fair bit but found the stock saddle uncomfortable after a few miles), it was a very slow pace (which might suit some of course).

Enthusiastic and fun guides make this a must!

Tim, Sam, and Garrett lead the group of 20 in this tour with great enthusiasm and knowledge, while making us feel safe and have fun. I recommend this tour as a first day's activity as it gives such a great overview of Boston. I felt so much more acclimated and comfortable getting around after biking some of the streets. This tour is so much better than the trolley and duck boat tours, too, because you're able to go into much smaller streets and neighborhoods, which is a wonderful way to get a real feel for a city. The guides played up the difficulty of the only hill on the tour, Beacon Hill, but it's not bad at all. And if you're not able to blast up the hill quickly, you can take your time, and even get off and push if you must - it's not a race. Do this tour!
