I did not know it was their first weekend of the season, but I could see myself returning this time each year. Even though it was a bit windy, the timing was perfect and the tour guides were very personable, knowledgeable, and excited about biking Boston. While we had a rather intimate group (three tourists with two guides), I impression I left with was larger groups would still have a great time and a personable tour.

My son (15yrs) and I had a great time on our tour. Guides where personable and knowledgable. Two days before our tour was scheduled, Urban Tours called to reschedule due to weather, which I thought was great, we were able to plan ahead to do something else. I would recommend to plan your bicycle tour in the beginning of your stay in Boston, so you have an idea of the city. Urban tours covers alot of ground! Go to Espedtios North End (salem street) for pizza after!

I've been to Boston 8 times, but never saw a lot of the places that we visited on this tour. It was a great experience. One tip - wear gloves if it is below 50 or so degrees.

I'm a 41-year-old female who lives in Lincoln Park in Chicago, IL. I'm an avid cyclist and loved this tour. It covered all the major points of interest and several that were just down right cool. Remember, Chicago is a FLAT city. Boston is NOT. If you don't typically ride on hilly terrain, get some practice! Beacon Hill kicked my butt!! The bikes have a nice sized zippable bag on the front which held my full sized bottle of Evian and my camera. Cool T-Shirts that say "I [bike] Boston" were only $20. The pace was good too.

I really enjoyed this activity, which combined some fun exercise with sightseeing and pleasant conversation with fellow riders. The guide seemed very knowledgeable, was very entertaining, and showed exemplary care for the group, most of whom were not experienced town cyclists. I felt completely safe, even though Boston is not reknowned as a cyclists' city. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who can cycle - regular stops give an opportunity for a short rest, and the guide makes sure that no-one gets left behind.

We booked a Classic City tour on a Monday morning. After a bit of a low key check-in we found we were the only people on the tour. After we met our guide, things really got going. He was completely flexible what we did (although I think we followed the general planned route) and set a pace that was just right for our family, including my 11 year old daughter. Boston is busy but very safe to cycle around and we never felt in danger from the traffic. The route was great - we saw the North End, the river, Fenway Park, shopping districts and church's. The guide was fantastic, very friendly, giving us a real insight into the City. We had 3 days in Boston and this 2.5 hour trip was voted by our whole family as the highlight. It's not cheap at $50 each but in my view it's worth the cost. One tip - unless it's busy season, don't book till you get to Boston as there are plenty of $10 off a tour for 2 vouchers around.

My wife and I took a bike tour of Boston with this group and it was a great experience. Good tour guides, good equipment (bikes and helmets); Great time. It is one of the best ways to see Boston! We highly recommend taking a tour.

great way to see the city

This how you should get to know this great city first. There is so much to see and by bike you can do it very closely. Our guide was excellent in every way. He presented the places and facts with expertise and guided the tour safely. He also had many intersting stories to tell about Boston from past and present days. We recommend this tour warmly!

We had a blast. Small group. Knowledgeable and personable guide (Tim). Saw lots of interesting sites including Fenway Park. Learned interesting Boston trivia. I'd do it again....

Boston on a bike - who knew it could be possible? I loved every minute of this tour. Well worth the money spent. Jessi - tour guide was fun and I felt he had a good handle on the Boston traffic and the needs of a cyclist navigating through the traffic and cars and people. Perfect weather for biking. The information I learned about Boston and the sites we saw were fun and interesting. Go for it! Don't hesitate... book your ride.
