Urban AdvenTours!

My husband and I (40-somethings) landed at Logan Airport around 10:30 AM. We dropped our suitcases off at our rental condo by Boston Common (with permission for early storage from the proprietor), changed into biking shorts, grabbed a bite, and got to Urban AdvenTours for our 2:00 tour. It was just the two of us and our guide which was fine with us because we were able to ask lots of questions during the tour. It was drizzling off and on the whole time but it didn't matter because we were having so much fun! Despite rumors, we found Boston drivers for the most part quite courteous. Our guide always warned us well in advance of any special lane changes to be aware of, any potholes to look out for, or where to be particularly cautious. We just about lost my husband in the North section where the Italian restaurants were because the sauteeing garlic smelled so divine! What a wonderful way to start a vacation! It was the perfect cure for jet lag and from now on I will always try to start our vacations with a bicycle tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and has a love for Boston and cycling and I wished we had asked him for more tips on restaurants to go to and other things.

If you want to exercise at the same time that you enjoy the city, you should choose that tour. People from Adven Tours are really nice.

I would not want to see Boston any other way! Forget those lame bus/boat duck tours. The Boston City View Bicycle Tour is the only way to really experience and feel what this wonderful city has to offer. My only complaint is that the tour should have been longer - 3 hours wasn't enough! That's how much I enjoyed it.

While in Boston, we did a 5K jogging tour, a Duck tour, and this bicycle tour. As an informed consumer, I can assure you that this tour is the best one to guide you along landmarks on the Freedom Trail, and more. The activity is safe, agreeable and the guides are informed and helpful, keeping the traffic away from you all the while! Everyone at Urban Adventours we found to be kind, courteous and helpful. Great tour. You see a lot of Boston. Great guides, although we had a rather large group and sometimes it was hard to hear them. My only negative is that Boston is not a great bike friendly city as you do have to mange city streets with city traffic and not many bike lanes.

I would like to write a few words about our experience with Urban AdvenTours . Me and my sister had such a great time during this bike tour. . We came to Boston from New Britian( CT) to celebrate my 21 st birthday. This trip was a birthday gift from my sister Maggie ! But the bike tour was my idea. Af first ,my sister was skeptical to this kind of activity and was afraid of being able to bike such a "long" distance. I persuaded her not to drop out good spirit and she eventually agreed to join me on this beautiful bike tour. This was the best choice we had made at that time ! We could orientate ourselves with what is worth to see in Boston and the next day we visited e.g. Isabella Stewart Museum, Prudential Center and other things that our excellent tour guides recommended us. I cannot resist to mention about Chris - one of the story tellers who accompanied us during this tour. I have been infatuated to him since that time !!! Such a smart , bright, intelligent and additionally good - looking man ! I loved the way he talked about Boston. Chris - you are the best !!!!! ;-) ( it would be great if you would remember the girl in navy style pants :P ) I recommend this trip to everyone who wants to have an awesome time with its families and friends. Me and my sister will never regret going on this tour . It was the best time ever thanks to Urban AdenTours but FIRST of all to my sister , Madzia !!! Thank you for such a happy and enjoyable time spent together . I love you so much !!! I will always cherish those moments. You are so special to me that you can't even imagine !!!

My husband and I took a city tour after flying the red eye from Los Angeles. The group included approx. 15 cyclists and three tour directors. From the beginning of the trip to the end, everything was very professional and fun. The tour guides were informational and had some fun anecdotes. We highly recommend this excursion at the beginning of your trip to Boston as it showed us much of the city and many sites that we returned to during the rest of our trip. Chris, in particular, is a wealth of information and so willing to share his knowledge of the city. Thanks again at Urban Adventours for a fantastic trip!

This experience was both active and educating. As a person who hates boring tours, this exceeded my expectations. The tour guides were amazing and the different stops adequately showed how unique Boston truly is.

My cousin and I took the Boston City Bicycle Tour on a Saturday morning and it was really well worth the money and time spent. The equipment was in great condition, the tour guide(s) - we had two- were knowledgable, and a mechanic rode with us as well, fixing squeaky brakes and anything else that came up. We were shepherded through busy traffic safely, and were really able to enjoy the lovely ride through Boston. It took about 3 hours and was exactly what the web-site said it would be. So no surprises about difficulty, duration, or sights that would be seen. If ever I'm in Boston again, would certainly do another. I highly recommend it..

This tour is a fantastic way to see Boston. We had two guides and a mechanic on our tour. Both the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The bikes were in excellent condition and we were able to do 12 miles in 2-3 hours. The stops were well timed. I find biking tours to be an excellent way to really feel connected and grounded to a city. Any time we stopped our feet were planted on the ground and it is just a completely different feeling that sitting in a bus. I feel more in tune with the city this way. Bottom line... excellent tour, very professional run.

By chance it was just myself and my partner on the tour. We felt the tour was excellent in its coverage of Boston. The guide was friendly and seemed knowledgable about the city. The tour covered North End, Back Bay, Waterfront, parks and other areas at a comfortable pace. Tour felt very safe even on busy roads. Would recommend.

My husband and I and our two children aged 17@18 did the Boston city bike tour. This gave us a good overview of the Boston area. The tour provides a great way to get around- you see alot more than you would by car and seeing this much by foot would have taken days. The tour guides are very mindful of rider safety. I would have liked to hear a bit more about Bostons history but otherwise it was really good and i would particularly recommend the tour to anyone like us who had only a short time to spend in Boston.

The City View tour by Urban Adventours was a great way to get to know the neighborhoods, landmarks, restaurants and parks around Boston. We did this first thing when we go to the city for vacation and our tour guides gave us great recommendations on things to see, places to eat, and the events around town. Highly recommend this fun, fit way to see Boston...way better than a boring trolley/bus tour!

Working through Zerve, all the cautions, and all the fine print detail was so time consuming and off-putting that I just about gave up and would have missed this very fine tour. I recommend just calling Urban Adventures.
