Interesting and worthwhile tour

By chance it was just myself and my partner on the tour. We felt the tour was excellent in its coverage of Boston. The guide was friendly and seemed knowledgable about the city. The tour covered North End, Back Bay, Waterfront, parks and other areas at a comfortable pace. Tour felt very safe even on busy roads. Would recommend.

Good overview of Boston

My husband and I and our two children aged 17@18 did the Boston city bike tour. This gave us a good overview of the Boston area. The tour provides a great way to get around- you see alot more than you would by car and seeing this much by foot would have taken days. The tour guides are very mindful of rider safety. I would have liked to hear a bit more about Bostons history but otherwise it was really good and i would particularly recommend the tour to anyone like us who had only a short time to spend in Boston.

The City View tour by Urban Adventours was a great way to get to know the neighborhoods, landmarks, restaurants and parks around Boston. We did this first thing when we go to the city for vacation and our tour guides gave us great recommendations on things to see, places to eat, and the events around town. Highly recommend this fun, fit way to see Boston...way better than a boring trolley/bus tour!

Urban Adventure Tours Good - Zerve not so good

Working through Zerve, all the cautions, and all the fine print detail was so time consuming and off-putting that I just about gave up and would have missed this very fine tour. I recommend just calling Urban Adventures.

biking boston on sunday morning was a real treat

we opted for the bike tour of boston because someone in our group couldn't "walk" the freedom trail, and we all were pleasantly surprised! we'd all been to boston on previous trips and had seen a lot of the sights, but doing it all by bike was a real treat. the guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining and did a good job shepherding us through city traffic. the only climb was beacon hill - piece of cake. only comment: the bike saddles could have been a bit softer - every heard of comfort bikes...???

Best tour we did in 3 days of Boston sight seeing. Even better than the Fenway Park tour. We did the city bike tour on Sunday morning, so traffic was very light.

Our guide, Greg, was informative and fun. It was a great way to learn about the city's sites while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. The tour was at a casual pace. I would try another of the company's tours next time in the city.

Best way to see a big city!

We had a great time seeing miles and miles of Boston by bike. Our tour guides were fun, funny, and full of great off-beat information. We never could have seen and learned so much about Boston in the short time we had there, on our own. I felt safe riding in the streets as our guides blocked traffic and knew all the best routes from point A to B. I highly recommend this way of seeing a big city!

Boston better by bike

A ride is good way to orient yourself in a town you do not know. Ride was relaxed and fun. The guides were knowledgable and provided tips on other activities like the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum and Harpoon Brewery. Boston drivers are to be complimented for patience and consideration.

My wife and I wanted to get a feel for Boston. This tour was the perfect thing! We got to see so much of this beautiful city, more than we could have planned on our own. The guides were engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. We couldn't have asked for a better day in Beantown.

Best tour in Boston - definitely DO IT!

I was a little skeptical about my ability to "bike Boston", since I hadn't spent much time on a bike in the past few years (especially on city streets with traffic... yikes!) - but, as it turned out, this was not a concern AT ALL with this group activity. My boyfriend and I both had a wonderful time, and we went on three different tours while we were in Boston - this was BY FAR the BEST! We saw nearly every neighborhood in the City, including the North End, Beacon Hill and Fenway - and had a great group of fellow tourists and tour guides (around 25 tourists, and 4 tour guides) that made this so much fun. We had great, hihg-quality bike equipment and safe, knowledgeable, and engaging tour guides. I would highly recommend this as a "MUST DO' while in Boston - and then you can skip some of the other tours!

Amazing way to see Boston!

As first time visitors to Boston, we were really happy that we booked a sightseeing tour with Urban Adventours. Instead of taking the customary hop on, hop off bus tours to orient ourselves to the city, touring the city by bicycle gave us a better understanding of the lay out of the city and its neighbourhoods. The guides were very knowledgeable and the bikes were comfortable and well tuned. I highly recommend taking a city tour with Adventours and look forward to going back to Boston and taking one of their other tours.

We would recommend this adventure to anyone. It was so very well organized and punctual. There were 31 people in our group and we were never frustrated or dissappointed. It was a wonderful way to get a view of Boston. The tour guides are very professional and knowledgable. We were very, very impressed.

It was great --- again.

Last year we went on the fall foliage/emerald necklace ride and that was absolutely great. This year we came earlier in the fall, the foliage tour wasn't yet available, so we went on the City View Tour. This was a little shorter, spent less time in the parks, but still very enjoyable. The best thing about the whole experience is the staff. Everyone of them was extremely helpful and friendly. From a painless checking in process, they then went to great lengths to make sure we we comfortable with our bikes, and that they were adjusted properly. They watched out for us and encouraged everyone during the entire course. The only slight negative this year was the size of the group - around 35 riders. Last year we were in a group of about 12 and that was much nicer. Regardless, we will undoubtedly do it again next year On our last day in Boston my wife and I rented 2 bikes from them and struck out on our own. Again they made sure the bikes were adjusted properly, that we had maps, water, etc. and when we returned, they wanted to make sure we had enjoyed ourselves. I have to say this outfit is a class act.
