My husband and I had recently gotten married, and although we'd have loved to go on a luxurious honeymoon, he was starting law school and I was back to complete my graduate degree-- not giving us much time or money to spend. So we opted for a little staycation in the Cambridge/Boston area and vowed to do all the things that as locals we never get a chance to do. This bike tour was PHENOMENAL. In terms of the skill necessary it was very easy-- it helped that the bikes are exceptionally maintained-- and the only hills we traveled were downhill! We toured the North End, Fenway, The Esplanade and more. It was a great way to get to know our own neighborhood and the tour guides were enthusiastic and passionate about city biking. BOSTON IS A BIKEABLE CITY and they showed us a wonderful way to enjoy it. Thanks for making our mini-moon a success with this healthy and informative tourist alternative!

My new husband and I were honeymooning in Boston and decided to get some excersice, this was a great way to check out some of the sights in Boston through a unique perspective.

Fantastic experience! I truly recommend this tour to groups of all ages! Made me want to go out and buy a new bike to ride around my town ;)

Well, I had not been on a bike for about 10 years_so this was truly an adventure. I loved the tour_my bike skills were lacking...but the tour guides were gracious and ensured our safety on busy Boston streets...and although I grew up in Massachusetts and knew a lot of Boston's history, the tour guides still Impressed me with historical facts I did not know! Best way to see Boston in a day_this is a must !!! And my friends who live around Boston also found the trip equally enjoyable!

Great way to see the city. We covered lots of ground in a relatively short period of time. It was a great experience and we would definitely do it again.

The tour was a great way to get an idea of the layout of the city. The pace was relaxing and the guides were wonderful. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Thought the City View Tour was a great way to see Boston with out having to hike all over the place. It gave us some great ideas of places we would like to visit on our next trip when we have more time. Only recommendation I would have would be to shorten the length of the trip, not time, to allow for more "sight seeing" while riding. As a tourist I felt the ride was a bit rushed and found myself lagging behind because I was trying to take in the sights as we were riding between stops. Still I would highly recommend as something to do at the beginning of your trip to Boston.

I loved this tour, our tour guides were great and very well informed about the city. I had never been to Boston so I wanted to see the city and this tour was a great way to do it. I would recommend this tour to our friends and family. LOVE IT!!!!

I enjoyed the ride. I felt safe at all times and the views were great. The history lessons from the tour guide were perfect! Lots of interesting facts - just the type of info I thought I would learn.

My husband and I took this tour on the afternoon 8/11/10, and we had a total BLAST! We saw so much of the city and found ourselves sharing many tidbits we learned on the tour from the two great guides, with our friends who joined us later that evening; they were impressed! We returned again & again to the Long Wharf & the North End during our stay (having seen the decorations for the Fisherman's Feast already during our bike tour) showed our friends the Sir Speedy; took them along the Esplanade & Charles River; told them about MIT rooftop shenanigans & Smoot Bridge; took them to the reflecting pool at the Christian Scientist center and got to see the Maparium; and visited the Isabella Stuart Gardner museum ourselves after the great history we learned on the bike tour. We enjoyed getting to see Fenway Park, too! The tour guides were so friendly and informative. It was a wonderful introduction to a city we now absolutely love! We've done a bike tour whenever we vacation in a city (did Central Park in NY, and a winery tour in Sonoma, CA), and find that it really adds information, history, and great fun to visiting a new city. The City View bike tour was no exception; if we ever vacation in Boston again, we'll do the night time (city lights?) tour. Thanks so much!

My mom and I had such a GREAT time on the City View Bike Tour! She has a nerve problem where standing for a long time bothers her, but biking is fine. The entire experience was seamlessly organized and so enjoyable. We saw MUCH more of the city than we would have on a bus tour, and got a little exercise. It was just the right amount of stopping and riding, with lots of great information. I live in Boston and have seen how people drive, so I was nervous about riding on the streets, but the guides directed traffic so well that I barely noticed when we were riding on the streets at all. We were so thrilled to discover so many hidden gems of the city, and enjoyed the green focus of the tour. It was worth every penny. I'll be coming back for the fall foliage tour.

Loved the Boston City View Bicycle Tour by AdvenTours! We had a large group of 30 cyclists, but the guides managed to keep every one safe and on course. AdvenTours provided great bikes and water bottles (would have been nice to keep them, but we had to turn them in, making one wonder how well they were cleaned). The stops were informative and well spaced for those that may have needed rest. Loved the historical information which was given. My 15 year old son and I enjoyed it so much, we took a different tour the next day (only 7 guests on this one). For a truly personalized tour, I'd recommend a private tour, but you can't beat the value of the group tours. Definitely a bargain.

My family and I were first time visitors to Boston. We have teenagers and didn't know how to sight see without boring them too much/ walking too much. Simultaneously, we wanted to learn about Boston and just have fun! So...after searching online the bike tour was highly recommended and boy was it a treat! The guides were awesome; very friendly, knowledgeable and good with keeping us safe from the crazy Boston drivers :). Our entire family had a blast while seeing Boston in a fun way. This activity is overall fun. You can actually ride the entire city in these 2.5 hours. The history of the city from the guides seemed off the cuff, yet it was still good. I think it could have been better. Still a good activity.

The bike tour was awesome! We have 4 teenage boys and they all loved the tour. We spent the day before onthe Freedom Trail, but all they did was complain!
