The tour is a great way to see what the city has to offer. The tour guide was knowledgeable an great to ride with. Our group included a pregnant woman and several who do not ride bikes regularly, but we had no problem keeping up.

I came as a international tourist and found it a great experience. Staff members are super nice and you may leave your luggage and bags in the front dest. during the trip, staff members provide very detailed explanations and answer yr questions. Thanks to them!

My new husband and I were honeymooning in Boston and decided to get some excersice, this was a great way to check out some of the sights in Boston through a unique perspective.

Took a ride with my 12 yo daughter. She was able to keep up and see Boston from a different perspective. A must-do while in the city.

The Bike Tour is definitly something I would recommend to others. The tour guides were very friendly and easy to talk to. They took the time to tell us details about the city and stopped at several locations, allowing us to take pictures. It was an excellent opportunity to see the entire city and to enjoy the outdoors. I have nothing bad to say about the tour itself. The only pitfall was that they tour was scheduled for 10am and we were told to arrive at 9:45. However, the bike store didin't open until 10am and by the time we hit the road it was 10:30. It was only concerning to me because I was leaving Boston later that afternoon and was afraid of not getting back in time. Other than that, all went well. I do have to say I was a bit shocked that there were only 4 people in all that decided to take this tour. Two of which were only there because they missed the one they scheduled the day prior.

We felt safe, stopped at several historic places, our speed was just right and our guide was knowledgeable. We'd happily sign up for another tour if we're back in Boston.

We are a family of 4, our children are ages 14 and 9. We completely enjoyed the ride through Boston. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites, history and architecture of the city. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone! We rode on a Sunday morning, so there was minimal traffic on the city streets which was nice for the kids who are not used to ride a bike on city streets.

great way to see the city

Though it was bitterly cold on the day we visited Boston, the bike tour from Adven Tours was well worth some discomfort. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful over the two hour ride. On this tour you get to see surprisingly much of Boston from the riverside to sporting complexes to the city centre and historic locations. The ride is not arduous and most reasonably healthy individuals can do the ride without having to worry about calling for the oxygen. Riding does often take place on actual streets but safety is not a concern as the guides are very proficient at leading the group along. While there are ample stops along the way for photos, the only small criticism I have is that there are no real opportunities to take pictures of the historic old streets. Whether this is because the organisers don't think it relevant or there may be privacy issues I don't know. I'm sure that if asked beforehand, the guides would be happy to stop, but this request is difficult when actually under way and not knowing what stops are already intended if unfamiliar with the tour. Overall, this tour is a great way to see Boston and thoroughly recommended.

I am a middle aged mom who did this tour with her three young adult children. Despite some initial concerns regarding my ability, after a few hundred yards my bike riding skills came back to me and it was smooth sailing. This from a lady who has not ridden a bike in over 25 years! The tour was delightful and a fun way to see Boston up close. We had interesting tour guides who added unique antedotes throughout our trip. I would absolutely recommend this tour! PS--You may want to wear dark or old shorts since one of our riders got bike grease on both inside legs of his khaki shorts.

The tour is a great way to see the various neighborhoods of Boston. The guides know the streets and history of the city. It is great for people of all ages who feel comfortable on bicycles.

Jessie, the tour guide, was awesome! Best way to see the city! 3 hours is a great value and the information is awesome! Riding bikes through the streets is a unique way to see the city and a lot of fun (Not just sitting on a crowded bus listening to the same presentation). We had only one other couple in our group, so we got lucky that it was pretty much a private tour! Well organized, very polite, very informative. Highly Recommend.

five of us did the tour last weekend and we all had a blast. One of my friends was a complete novice and Urban Adventours took good care of her. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the tour is about 3 hrs long so by the end of it we all were exhausted. If you enjoy the out doors and want a more intimate experience than Duck/Trolley tours - this is the best option.

* Got to see several places in Boston that I had not seen in spite of living in the area for around 4 years. * The weather was awesome and it added to the fun. * Could have been a little more interactive. * Probably can allow for another 30 minutes of free-style riding for people who would not get a chance to get on the bike again for a long time.
