Worth it for anyone

I have been all around Boston, but never via a bike. My wife and I were in Boston for the weekend and we booked the trip last minute, easily found the starting location, enjoyed the tour immensely and was really surprised how quickly you can get from one section to the other on the bike. I never knew bike travel was so easy in Boston. I intend to come back with my children and do it again. Many thanks to Greg and Moe!

Best Tour of Boston...period!

I've lived in New England for 15 years and have been the consummate tourist. I've been on duck tours, ghost tours, trolly tours, walking tours, historical tours, harbor tours and self-guided tours. In less than 3 hours...on bikes, on a Saturday morning, I saw more of Boston than on any of those other tours. Great guides, great gear, great idea, and awesome execution. If you have only one chance to tour Boston, this is it! If you have two chances, do this one twice. Cheers!

Guides were knowledgeable and fun. We all had an outstanding time. Its not to be missed. Never would have seen as much of Boston on our own. GO YANKEES we won 3 of 4 that weekend.

Amazing!

I was very pleased with this tour for some many reasons! The tour allowed me to learn a lot about the city in a short period of time and did not only concentrate on one area but made it possible to see many great parts of the city. The tour guides were very enthusiastic and provided a lot of great history as well as personal stories which made the tour more interesting. As a first comer to Boston I was able to leave the tour with more ideas on what to see and which places to experience, anything from food to museums. I highly recommend it!

Best way to experience Boston

I once had the pleasure of touring Paris by bicycle at night, and since then I seek out bicycle tours when visiting a new city. Urban AdvenTours in Boston was a wonderful experience: the tour was well organized and very informative, the guides were friendly and enthusiastic, native Bostonians who clearly loved their city, and the bikes were very good quality. I highly recommend this tour to both visitors and also those who live in Boston who want to spend a few relaxing hours on a bike with the added benefit of experiencing Boston history from the streets and alleys.

Of all the things we did in Boston, this was our favorite. The ride was relaxing, informative, and most of all- fun! Our guides were very knowledgable, enthusiastic, and focused on us having a good time. I even had a flat during the ride, and they quickly changed out the tube and got us caught back up with the group without missing anything. This was well worth the money and I would do it again whenever we go back.

Excellent Experience! Two Thumbs Up!

Tour guides were outstanding. All were cycling enthusiasts and extremely knowledgeable of Boston and the rich history there. The ride was very casual, with riders in all shapes and sizes, no one was left behind. Only one probably 5-degree hill on the tour (Beacon Hill), the rest was down-hill, or flat. Easy ride.

We chose to do the City View tour on our first day in Boston. It was a great orientation to Boston on a historical, cultural, and geographic basis. The guides were superb in giving us information and insights while watching over the safety of our group. We enjoyed the tour so much we rented bikes for a second day to explore Cambridge.

Loved seeing the city by bike

My only complaint was that the website does not clearly specify the cost for Children on the tour. We were under the impression that since they were riding with us - were under the age of 4 - there would be no extra cost for them. At the store - we were asked to pay 35.00 each for each child. I wouldn't have signed up for the tour - knowing that I had to pay full price for my two children under 4. Since they are on my bike(via bike seats), and are not taking up any bike rentals or extra water on the tour - and do not get the same benefit as an adult rider - I don'[t think there should be a charge for children. At the very least - your website should clearly identify the cost for each rider - outlining the age. The only thing mentioned is that they have to be at least 1 - but nothing about the cost.

Leisurely ride, very knowledgeable home-grown guides. Had fun and felt safe the entire tour. Friendly guides and staff were having as much fun leading as we were having following. We would definitely recommend to our friends.

Fantastic tour

This was hands-down the best thing we did in Boston. A bicycle is THE way to see the city; we covered pretty much everything in about 3 hours, including a lot of very interesting sights I probably wouldn't have gone to had I not been on this tour. Very, very easy pace and mostly flat, with lots of stops where the guides fill you in on the history. Our guides, Baylor and Charles, were extremely knowledgeable and personable. Do this early in your trip, and then you can go back and check out the things that interested you most in more detail.

Great Ride in a Great City

Lucky me: it was a PERFECT day for a bike ride, with temps in the 80s, blue sky and sunshine (hint: Sundays are ideal because there is less hustle & bustle). We had two guides for our group, Greg and Pall, and they did a fantastic job. They really gave us a good deal of information without overdoing it. The ride is pretty easy, with few hills, but we covered a lot of ground. I highly recommend this ride...it's fun and informative and gets you out of the tourist rut!
