Not bad, but tour guides not very knowledgeable

The tour route was pretty good, got to see a number of landmarks. Both tour guides were recent transplants, and didn't seem to have an in depth knowledge of Boston. The lead tour guide was kind of a tool. As we were stopping at Louisburg Square, he picked up and threw a large handful of seed pods in the air and yelled "Allergies anyone?" They fell all over my wife, on her hair, face, inside her jacket, etc. I was right behind her, but he missed me, which was fortunate, since I have severe allergies and asthma. The brakes on my wife's bike were improperly adjusted, and squealed constantly, driving us and the other tourists crazy. None of the four staffers, who were on the ride with us were inclined to help. Two hours into the three hour tour, I tried to adjust the brake, but couldn't get rid of the squeal. At that point, my wife rode to the head of the pack, right next to the lead tour guide, so that he could enjoy the noise. It only took about 5 minutes of that, for him to stop and quickly fix the brakes. I think the tour may be more enjoyable for tourists from out of town, who have no knowledge of the city.

My husband and I are new to Boston and did the bike tour to familiarise ourselves with the central area. We had a great time and felt good that we were getting some excercise! We had already done the freedom trail and there is a little overlap but also lots of new places to see.

The Perfect Way To See Boston

Greg and his team were simply amazing. They took our group through the major neighborhoods in Boston with frequent stops for photos at local attractions. He even pointed out the former homes of famous people in Beacon Hill. The tour was rich with history, stories, and giggles. Very highly recomended if you want to see a lot in a short time, and are comfortable on a bicycle. Very affordable prices. My only regret was not having a camera on my helmet to film the entire adventure!

Fun stuff. It would be cool if you could get into fenway park to take pics. I would do it again. Keep doing what you are doing. Tour guides were fun, and knowledgable.

I had a really great time on this tour. I was especially happy to realize that we were traveling to some more 'hidden' spots that a tour bus could never access.

I had an amazing time on the bike tour and learned a lot about Boston! I love biking so it was the perfect combo for me. Don't forget to dress warmly as the wind near the Charles can be pretttttty cold! All in all a fantastic tour. I highly recommend!

I feel like I understand the layout of Boston better since the bike tour. It would be a perfect start for anyone who will be spending a few days in the city. Our guide was very informed and the history provided was interesting and entertaining. I'm still laughing about the Boston Molassacre.

A great way to see the city. Could never have seen this on foot...and way more fun than a trolley or duck tour.
