| Had planned a jam packed send off weekend for a much loved friend who was bidding so long to the single life. There was lots of late night partying scheduled for the weekend, but, a few of the core group wanted to do something simple, fun & completely San Francisco on Saturday afternoon.
Even though the majority of us were still hurting from the evening before we were all determined to make it down to the Pier 39 to enjoy a little while on the water.
Check in was very relaxed. One of the group was running late & we were all a little disappointed that she wouldn't make it. The staff reassured us that she had plenty of time to make the cruise. We made her run anyways...ya know, for the laughs.
Once out on the water the views were amazing. When the wind got a little much we'd find our way below to enjoy a bevie at the bar. Very comfortable & warm. Didn't stay down there long though. The view as you pass under the GG Bridge was awe inspiring.
This was definitely the highlight of a very packed weekend.
Thanks ya'll! |

| We lived in the Bay Area for 10 years and have recently moved to the Midwest (so I still think of myself as a "local" when it comes to being in San Francisco. When we returned to visit friends, we wanted to completely avoid the crowds and tourists at Pier 39, but we wanted our kids to get a good taste of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. We found the perfect was to achieve this -- Adventure Cat -- and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The boat was immaculate, the captain and crew were friendly, and the sailing was a blast! It felt like a chartered, private sail rather than a crowded tourist trap. The captain allowed the kids (and the adults) the freedom to play around and enjoy being on the open water -- he even let the kids (and the adults) steer home from the bridge. In all, it was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone -- local or tourist. It was so great to sit on our boat with a total of 14 passengers and watch the masses stuff onto a slow-moving tourist ferry. We definitely had the better deal! My kids are 6 & 9, we were with another family with kids ages 7 & 9, and there was even a baby on the boat nestled comfortably on his father's chest in a front carrier. Safety, fun and excitement -- great deal! |

| I wanted to take my boyfriend on a fun and unique date and a friend recommended Adventurecats. We had a wonderful time, taking in the beautiful views, enjoying the great service, and just enjoying a beautiful day on the water. I had high expectations going in and they definitely met my expectations. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun Saturday and Sunday afternoon activity in the city. |

| Comfortable boat with plenty of room, great tour of the bay at an affordable price. We had three in our party and all had a great time and were able to enjoy at our own pace and preference. Some choose to go out on the deck and get some wind and spray while one of our group wanted to stay inside where it was warmer and much less windy. This cruise will become a standard part of entertaining out of town guest when they visit. |

| My father visited San Francisco from Las Vegas. Having been to the city so many times I was at a loss at what to do. Living in the city, I couldn't handle any "Tourist" attractions. The Adventure Cat came to mind when I was remembering a walk I took on the pier when I had first moved to city. The beauty of the Catamaran caught my eye and took me by surprise. It reminded me of times on my parent's sailboat which my father sadly sold a few year's ago. So the plans were set. I was unsure how my father would feel, being a passenger under another captain's sail. As soon as we pushed off however, he was in love. It was obvious the chance to be out on the water again was amazing for him, paired with the views of Golden Gate (one we can't see we have ever seen before), Alcatraz and a few seals, he praised the entire trip thoroughly. All in all, this was the perfect trip for us. |

| My brother and his wife and 3-year old where in town. Couldn't get tickets to Alcatraz, so was considering a Alcatraz-themed bay cruise. So glad I did this instead. I've been on those ferry/bay cruise boats and they can't even compete with the thrill of being on a catamaran. Highly recommend. |

| The captain and crew were terrific, the boat is in excellent condition and the ride is exhilarating. My 18-year-old son said he'd like to do it again sometime soon. It's a great way to see Alcatraz (without the crowds), a unique perspective of the Golden Gate Bridge, and the city shoreline...something intoxicating about flying along at 20 knots with the fresh air in your face. We'll definitely be back. |
