As far as I know, this is the only boat that will take you out past the Golden Gate Bridge. It is an incredible experience, especially on a sunny windy day, like we had. I say this as an experienced sailor who has sailed through the gate many times while racing. The boat is very stable and no one in my group (non-sailors) got seasick. You can stay inside if you get cold, but for those that go out on the bow, the experience is unforgettable. If it is windy (and it probably will be, even if it isn't when you board) bring a full rainsuit with overshoes if you have it, and some warm clothes underneath. They have some jackets on the boat, but it was our feet and pants that got wet. Another recommendation: bring polaroid glasses, especially if its cloudy. These will allow you to see all the dolphins and sea lions just under the surface, and there are many. They have drinks and snacks on board, and the crew was very professional

If you want to take a boat ride, you have to take this one. Unlike big cruisers, this boat really gives you the feel of being on the sea. Its beautiful on the deck, very relaxing. The best way to spend afternoon in the city

We were looking for something quiet and relaxing to do on our mini-vacation to SF. This cruise was perfect. The bay was beautiful, the weather was beautiful, the boat was great, the crew was friendly. It was smooth sailing! Will definetly do this again!

This tour is small enough that it isnt crowded like the other tour that is offered at Pier 39. It's on a nice size boat that you have your own space to roam around. Great tour! They had jackets for people who weren't prepared like me. It does get cold once your on the tour!

I've lived in San Francisco for 15 years and I think this was one of the best things I've ever done. I can't believe it took me so long to get around to going for a ride on the "Ad Cat." It was a blast!

It is a good time to get together with your friends and other random people, but outside is verrrrrrrry windy without much shelter. The only place to hunker down is inside, which limits the views a lot. Plus, drinks are expensive (I think they should be included; or at least one complementary drink).

This is a great trip with friendly staff. It gets pretty wild and windy and cold out on the Bay, but if you love being in the elements, I would recommend this.

We had booked this outing well in advance and were glad we did. The view from the Bay was just Awsome!! We had our 3 year old daughter with us and she just enjoyed the trip. The crew as amazing and very courtious. We would definately do it again and recomend it to anyone who wants to have a relaxing adventure away for everything else. Well worth the money we spent.

I thought this was a great cost affordable excursion. The kids loved it. Once you get to San Francisco you realize it is not extremely warm, at least not in April. They joked that shopping is the fourth industry and mainly because tourist come and are cold and have to buy clothes. For me being cold almost the whole trip I was so happy when we got on the boat and they had jackets you could wear during the trip. It sounds like a little thing, but it truly made the boat ride enjoyable.
