This is a must experience for tourists and locals alike. The ride could not be any smoother; the views are awesome and the service from crew is excellent. Don't let the $25.00 charge for adults make you miss this wonderful experience. It's more than worth it Try finding a similar experience for the same price! |

The crew were very friendly and accomodating. The trip seemed to be over way too soon - wanted to stay out longer - was amazed when the 1 1/2 hours was up. Boat was spotless and other people accompanying us were friendly - cruise only about half full so made it a lot more restful. Loved it and would recommend it for friends - have told all my cohorts at work about it! |

I took the lady and she loved it! But I think I might have enjoyed it even more!
I think the trick is going on a day where the weather is half decent, since that's the best you can expect in SF. It does get very cold when you get out far and close to the Golden Gate Bridge. My girl was wearing flipflops, and that was not the best idea. Wear shoes and bring a jacket! But if you forget the jacket they are nice enough to provide a few.
Overall great experience, I've already recommended it to all my friends. |

Relatives were visiting from out of town and we wanted to take them for a cruise on the bay. We looked into the cruises with the ferry's and then I remembered taking a cruise on the Adventure Cat with a group about a year ago. I looked into the public cruises and decided that for a few dollars more than the ferries, the Adventure Cat would be worth it. We not only were right, but I'd underestimated how much better the Adventure Cat is than the ferries. While we could see the ferry packed with at least 100 people taking a cruise, we were enjoying the relaxing cruise on the Adventure Cat with only a few other people and the 3 crew members. So, to sum it up, if you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable cruise around the bay, take the Adventure Cat cruise. If you're cheap and are looking to save a few dollars, enjoy being packed in like sardines on the ferry. In my opinion however, the Adventure Cat is the ONLY way to cruise the bay. |

Quite windy in the open bay but still very pleasurable.
Was able to get a number of good photos.
1.5 hours was just the right amount of time.

This is the second time I have been on this cruise and I would recommend it to all visitors and locals. What makes it so great it that it is a small group so it is never to crowded, a relaxing ride with no motor (if there is enough wind to get you going with the sails), and a relaxing drink out on the nets enjoying the view. And the bonus on this cruise, the Captain actually built the boat, so I felt very safe. Make sure you put aside 90mins to do this cruise, you will not regret it. |

Just right. 1.5 hours there and back. Alcatraz and a lovely trip under the bridge. |

Our group had a blast. We were celebrating our birthday and the crew was very tolerate of our silliness as we partied pirate style! I'll be sending pics in soon! Such a fun thing to do if you're a local or a visitor! |
