What A View!

I originally read about The Adventure Cat in a book I read. The character in the book said the ride was something that needed to be experienced, not just read about. So true! We had a fabulous time sitting on the trampoline deck watching the water go under us; the dolpins beside us, and the best view of the bridge and the city you could ever hope for.

As we skimmed across the water, we enjoyed the stunning views, watched a regatta, had kiteboards and sailboards whipping into the waves under the Golden Gate Bridge around us, and more... It was stellar!

We visited California and definitely one of the highlights was our cruise on San Francisco Bay. Sailing underneath the Golden Gate, around Alcatraz and always a view on the skyline of San Francisco was really a great experience and we can recommend it to everybody.

We were pleased that we followed the directions on the website to bring a jacket. While exhilarating, it was windy and cold. We were expecting more of a commentary from the captain/crew about the experience and statistics and/or information about the GG bridge and Alcatraz. We would definitely recommend to others and perhaps repeat on a return trip to San Francisco. More information could be provided about the traffic in the area and the amount of time to park and find the dock. We had difficulty finding the exact gate and the lack of signage was not beneficial.

Some people in my party stayed inside and enjoyed the views while most stayed outside and felt the wind at our face! Everyone gave this a huge thumbs up!

It was fun and pretty - but definitely cold and windy so you need to dress accordingly. Very non-touristy which I like

Both my husband and I have owned sailboats in our younger days. We had a fantastic sail on Adventure Cat. It was gusting up to 35 knots and we thoroughly enjoyed the exciting speed. It ended too soon. Any time we are in the area again, we will definitely sail with them again. The Captain was skilled, warm, and obviously loves sailing as much as we do.

Wonderful way to see the 'Bridge'

Great way to travel across the bay and see Alcatraz and the Bridge from the water. Timing good - the full 90 minutes on the water - unlike some trips we have taken in the past. Being allowed to helm for a short while added to the enjoyment of many passengers - irrespective of age. Very friendly crew, boat good, not crowded - although refreshments limited. Would certainly do again.
