| Sail was very good. Crew was friendly. Only reason not enthusiastically recommended is dependency on weather. If sail is cancelled, no refund is offered, only future use. This is not a good option if you are on the last day of vacation. |

| I have been on the other cruise, the Blue and Red I think and it was crowded and not nearly as nice as this catamaran. There is no noise from the MOTOR AND THE SAIL WAS JUST DREAMY. WE GOT CLOSE TO SHORE OF A SMALL ISLAND and loved this tour. No shouted facts just a wonderful soothing ride. The boat man willingly answered questions and was so low key and nice he made the trip perfect. We went out on October 29th 2009 and it just required a light jacket. If you needed more cover, they had it on the boat. So great with that beautiful sail overhead. My 10 year old grandson thought it was the best part of our trip and so did I. |

| My husband and I were on our honeymoon and thought this was a definite highlight to our San Francisco romantic get-away. I would suggest the cruise to anyone. I felt safe on the cruise and had a magical time! This was much more personalable than other cruises offered on the bay. Thanks again! |

| I found a recommendation for this sail in an online "avoid the tourist trap" article. After reading other reviews, I decided it was worth the time and money to give it a try - and I was not disappointed.
Before we left the dock we were given a safety talk by the captain. Then, throughout the sail, he and the deck hands were very friendly and helpful, answering questions, pointing out good places to position yourself, taking pictures of groups, etc.
When we left Pier 39 it was gray, cloudy, windy and cool, yet the 'cat cut through the choppy water quite nicely, simply porpoising up and down as it neatly moved ahead. First we went around Alcatraz Island, slowing to take it all in, then picked up speed and headed for the Golden Gate Bridge. Again the cat slowed for the bridge, then passed under the span to get very close to a beach on the marine highlands, where there were rocks active with pelicans and cormorants flying around and diving for food, and campers in the woods an on the shoreline. I got some great pictures.
Coming back under the bridge the sun broke through and the winds eased, giving great views of various city skyline highlights, the Fisherman's Wharf piers and the Oakland Bay Bridge off in the distance. Along the way we encountered sail and kite surfers, sea lions, other small boats, large container ships, etc.
I thought it was a perfect way to see the Bay Area, and would definitely do it again. At the last minute a friend came with me; she lives outside of San Francisco but had never taken this tour before - she is now recommending it to her friends and family.
Definitely worthwhile, especially if you like being on the water - just do it! |

| This is the third time I have taken an out of towner on the adventure cat
and It is a great and affordable way to get out on the bay!
The crew this time seemed a bit too cool for school. Previously the guides talked to us a little about sites we where about to embarc upon.
These guys said as little as possiable and the behaved down right crabby?
I wanted to say -Dude try sitting in an office all day pointing and clicking your life away
Why such much attitude? how can they not like their jobs?
None of the guests even knew there drinks available until they saw mine.
I really felt like a tourist annoying the locals. This was a far different experience from the the previous 2 x's I took my out of town guests. The rest of the passengers probably did not notice their aloofness, because they sail ride it self is so beautiful.
The blonde guy with the full beard was happy and personable.

| The cruise was wonderful. I went on the 1pm cruise and the fog burned off as we were approaching the Golden Gate Bridge. It was smooth but windy. Probably should bring a jacket, though the jackets provided were sufficient. The crew was friendly and helpful. |
