Bay Sail on San Francisco Bay

booked this evening sunset cruise for my husbands birthday weekend get-away. Met up with my sister and her husband for the cruise. We had a great time. It did get quite cold and a little choppy, but was so much fun. They kept the or-devours stocked, with nuts, chips, salsa, crackers, fruit, Bree cheese, vegis and dips, and gave two free drinks to each passenger. We sailed out across the bay and under the Golden gate Bridge. The staff was great and we had a lot of fun.

This is my SIXTH time on the Adventure Cat, and I love every cruise as if it were my first time. I take all of my guests -- from New York to Texas to China -- everyone LOVES the Catamaran on the bay!

I purchased the afternoon trip for my boyfriend and me. The trip far exceeded my expectations. My boat had only 10 other passengers, leaving plenty of room to roam around the boat. The staff on the boat was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great, personable, and affordable boat ride on the bay.

This experience was wonderful! The captain and his first mate were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting San Francisco. This was actually recommended to us from a friend from our hometown who visited SF earlier this summer!

We had perfect weather and the sail was wonderful. if you want to actually sail in the bay, this cruise is great. However, I was very disappointed that no narration about the boat (aside from basic safety info) or any of the sights we saw, was provided. This excursion is labeled as a "tour" of the bay, which to me implies a tour guide, who will explain what we're seeing. If you ask the crew a direct question they will certainly answer, but nothing is volunteered. I could also have done without the 60's music in the background - the natural sounds of the wind in the sails and the bay itself would have been much more pleasant.

I read about this catamaran cruise in the Fodor's San Francisco book and then went onto the website for the cruise as stated in the book. The video and reviews were very positive and I easily booked it online a few days before our vacation from the Philadelphia area on the east coast. My family of 2 children 12 and 13 years old, my husband and a friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and highly recommend it. IT WAS AWWWWWWESOME!

The cruise was fun and exciting. The young staff was considerate and helpful. However, our visitors wanted more information about the places we visited and we heard this same comment from other passengers as well. Particularly two women from southern California were disappointed in the lack of a running commentary and explanation. Our guests were from Japan and this was a once in a lifetime visit. They speak excellent English and would have enjoyed more information than we could provide.

We had a fantastic time, the children thoroughly enjoyed lying in the nets at the front of the catamaran. Captain Jake and crew were very welcoming. The booking procedure online through Zerve was very smooth. We would highly recommend this trip as an alternative to the Alcatraz tour. Keep up the good work.
