Bay Sail on San Francisco Bay

We got there a little early and while we waited, we got to watch the sea lions right next to the gate and saw how crowded the other tour boats were. The ride on the catamaran seemed so quiet and smooth compared to the other boats. Maybe because we went on a weekday, but our boat only had a total of 7 guests, including us. We would recommended it to anyone else visiting. Definitely enjoyable and memorable.

The weather was very poor, but the crew made it as enjoyable as possible. They tried very hard to make it possible to get good pictures and make it a worthwhile experience. We would both recommend it and even maybe do it again.

It was great, but I got cold even with a jacket. Don't just wear a jacket, wear a warm jacket.

We had a small group on our sail so it was especially nice. It would be great if the staff identified some of the islands, bridges etc that we passed, but they were helpful when asked. The ride was smooth, the staff friendly and courteous, and the scenery fabulous.

The crew was very nice and seemed experienced and comfortable in handling the watercraft in serious winds. Since we had such a small group on the day we went, would could move around freely. The views were beautiful all around. I will go again.

The weather was just perfect! I spent the whole 1 1/2 hours on the deck of the boat and it was fun and great. I heard about Adventure Cat from a friend and I'm thankful for telling me about it. A friend of mine who had a similar experience with a larger ship said she likes this small boat experience a way better! It's worth spending, you won't regret it.

What could be better than an hour and a half with a brisk wind and sunny skies, out on the San Francisco Bay? The boat's crew members were friendly and attentive, the scenery amazing as always, we saw a dolphin swimming alongside for a bit; very fun to sail under the Golden Gate bridge--just a delightful experience all around. This trip was a gift for a friend's birthday, and he got to take the "helm" (with captain alongside, of course) on the run back to the harbor. So: everyone had a great time.

I've been to San Francisco at least 6 times and I had walked and driven over the Golden Gate Bridge, but this was the first time I had seen the city from the bay and seen the seals below the bridge face to face! It was really a great experience. The day-time trip was the perfect length to enjoy the water and the scenery but still allowed time for sight-seeing for the rest of the afternoon. The captain and the crew were very friendly, and the atmosphere of the boat was relaxed. The weather was perfect- clear and sunny, which made all the difference (but remember your sunscreen!). I would definitely take my visiting family or friends out on the cruise again.

The cruise was beautiful and I loved that the engines were turned off as much as possible. I think it could be improved by a small amount of information during the cruise. We saw dolphins off the port side but no one alerted all the cruisers about it. Also a small 5-10 minutes explanation of SF history or sights we were seeing would enhance the experience for non locals.
