Bay Sail on San Francisco Bay

Thanks to your genial crew and the beautiful weather it was a very nice experience, exactly what we were hoping for.

If you decide to make this your way of experiencing the sights of San Francisco Bay, you are making the right choice. My daughter and I both loved the feel of the wind in the sails and enjoyed the movement of the boat over probably bigger waves than usual - that just added to the fun of the sail. Fisherman's Wharf is easy to find, but we could not find any sign to Adventure Cat. However, you will find it if you go down to the docks on the RIGHT side of the wharf. You cannot miss the barking seals. Standing in front of the seals, just walk to the LEFT and you will find the modest sign for Adventure Cat. Be patient if someone does not come to the gate at 2:30 when you are asked to arrive for the 3:00 sail. One of the mates arrived at 2:40 and we boarded easily on time. The hour and a half sail on the Bay was an incredible adventure! It was a windy day and the waves had small white caps, The catamaran glided along silently and quickly, letting us all on the boat enjoy the sights of the Bay, Alcatraz, the beautiful islands, the little communities along the shores and of course, The Golden Gate Bridge!! Spray in our faces as we leaned a bit into the wind, sights of wind surfers gliding undaunted over the waves! A great trip! A great memory of San Francisco! This must be the best way to be in San Francisco Bay! Really recommend this Adventure Cat experience!!!!! (And there is no motor rumbling in your ears, no one on a microphone explaining the obvious. It is just a quiet adventure!)

Great ride, was over way too soon! Started out and returned exactly on time. I was surprised at how smooth & steady it was. Was very glad to see that the trip is completely under sail, except for immediately leaving & entering the harbor. The crew did a great job and there was an overall congenial atmosphere.

My husband and I really enjoyed taking this cruise. It gave us a great view of the bay and the Golden Gate bridge. The only downside, for us, was that there was no "narration" on the trip. Being from out of town, we weren't always sure what we were looking at.

nothing more fun than sailing on the bay. great views of the city, the bridge, alcatraz. Most fun thing to do in SF. Have done it three times.

I recently went on the AdventureCat Bay Cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the price and the duration of the cruise it cannot be beat. The crew was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They even provide nice thick jackets for free just in case it's cold. The boat itself was not big but handled the rough seas of the bay easily. The boat size also made it for a more quaint romantic experience. All in all a great experience. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone. 5 out of 5 stars!! Thanks AdventureCat!!

the sail boat trip me and my girlf friend took was great! the water was nice and the city looks beautiful from the bay. i enjoyed the boat ride becuase i wasnt too bumpy or anything, it was a very smooth ride. it got a little windy by the golden gate bridge, but since the crew had extra jackets on board it wasnt a problem. it was definetly the best trip i had to san fransico in a long time and definelty worth the money. it was so cheap!

we really enjoyed the tour. it was nice not having a tour guide talking in your ear the whole time. you can just sit back and enjoy the views.

For me it was the highlight of the trip. The weather didn't cooperate but that didn't bother me. If I had known about the sunset cruise I would have taken it. Really enjoyed the hour and a half. Harry Boyle
