For anyone who enjoys being out on the water and seeing San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin from that perspective, this is the most comfortable and serene method I can imagine. There is a choice at all times between being out on deck and experiencing the swell, or lounging on cushioned seats with a huge window view around you of everything. You can move about freely. A bar and snacks, lovely personnel, no pressure to engage - like having your own private boat. This is not a tour; if you're from out of town & want to know what you're seeing, you will have to ask the crew or a fellow passenger. |

We only had 24 hrs to spend in San Francisco (our first visit). We rode the cable car up to the Wharf and took a trolley tour in the am. Then a Bay Cruise in the pm. We definitely feel we have a real sense of the city. The Bay Cruise was extremely relaxing and provided breathtaking views. If we ever get back to the Bay we'll definitely do this again. |

What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday or any other special day...in fact just take it for the fun of it. We're locals who enjoyed the Adventure Cat immensely. Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge was the highlight of our journey. The hosts were really delightful and the day sunny and beautiful. We went on a Thursday early afternoon with only 10 other people so it felt really private. I highly recommend this activity for locals and non=locals alike. Great for anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of San Francisco Bay without all the glitz... |

The catamaran tour was a great break from the city traffic, crowds and pavement. Sailing close to Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge to snap photos in the setting sun was fun. The captain let us steer the boat and answered our unending questions. Even on the hot day we went, the wind was chilly, so I was glad to have a warm cabin with great views. |

Great sailing trip

We had a really great time on this sailing trip. It was really nice to sail around the bay and see the Golden Gate Bridge from underneath and see all the kite sailers. The weather was definitely cold, but the crew provided jackets to people who needed them, which was really nice. |

A very pleasant way to travel around the bay. Choices to sit in the back which was protected from the wind or up front with the wind in your hair. We did have a sunny day which is not something they can control but I suspect that makes a huge difference. |
