Uncle and Grandma traveling with 11 year old granddaughter. We chose this cruise because of the sailing and going under the Golden Gate Bridge. Granddaughter really enjoyed the adventure. She took some good photos while going under bridge. We would do this again. |

My husband and I met another couple for the 90 minute afternoon cruise. Full disclosure, we went on one of those rare hot days in SF summertime. We all thought was a great way to experience the bay. We were up front to get the full experience of the waves and alternated sitting on the webbing and standing against the soft rails. On a day like that we had to have a beer. The view of the bridge was special, the boat went underneath and beyond it. We wore windbreakers over t-shirts and long pants. It was a bit chilly even on a hot day, so on a normal SF day I would advise jeans, and lots of layers with coverage of head and neck. The crew was great. The boat was full but it didn't feel like a crowd because the wind drowned out the people noise. We did not bring our kids but some people brought kids who appeared to be around 8 or 9 and they looked like they were having a great time, and I plan to bring my older kids next time. The 90 minute duration was perfect for people who aren't used to prolonged exposure to the wind. The views were of course fantastic. A great pick me up experience! |

We took the Adventure Cat out from Pier 39 for an hour and a half cruise around Alcatraz over twds Sausalito, back twds the Palace of Fine Arts, out just beyond the Golden Gate and back to Pier 39. Beautiful day, great crew. Great photo ops. Would definatley do it again. The day we went it was 80 degrees in the city but cooler on the bay. Would suggest bringing a light jacket. Saw lots of parasailers, wind surfers, and other sailboats out there. Great way to relax and enjoy the bay. |

If you're looking for all the bells and whistles guided/narrated tour of the bay - then this isn't for you. But if you'd like a peaceful glide from Pier 39, past Alcatraz, Angel island, Sausolito and right under the Golden Gate and back - then this is what you're looking for. |

This was a great trip! We had great weather, exceptional staff, and the price was amazing!
However, all info on the trip indicated that the boat leaves promptly at 1 with NO exceptions. But, this was not the case. A group was 15-20 min late and the boat dud not take off, which was a bummer for the rest of us who left early to navigate sf weekend traffic.
The boat did go an extra 10 minutes, but we were still cut short 5-10 min because of the ridiculous group.
Despite that, the trip was good and amazing considering the price. |

This was a wonderful way to see the Bay. The boat was large enough to accommodate the 30 or so passengers. The one drawback for us was quite simply Mother Nature. It was unusually cold and extremely windy. There is an enclosed area that you can retreat to, but the windows are foggy/hazy and a bit hard to see out of. We've lived in San Francisco and have gone on different tours. We all felt this was well worth the price and a great way for kids to enjoy the Bay. However, it is best enjoyed when the weather is cooperating, which is something that can't always be predicted. |

My granddaughter (15) has been wanting to go out on a boat, so I took my daughter and her out on your boat and it was great. No rain, a little rough, and I think my daughter had the best time. She stayed out in the weather the whole time and just loved it. Of course I did too, just watching the waves, and landscape go by. Very relaxing when you are on the water. I would very much recommend this trip to anyone young or old. |

We got there a little early and while we waited, we got to watch the sea lions right next to the gate and saw how crowded the other tour boats were. The ride on the catamaran seemed so quiet and smooth compared to the other boats. Maybe because we went on a weekday, but our boat only had a total of 7 guests, including us. We would recommended it to anyone else visiting. Definitely enjoyable and memorable. |
