My friend and I came to SF for just five days and ended up seeing a lot. However, catching a breeze while sailing underneath the Golden Gate Bridge was THE highlight by far. The captain and crew were helpful, professional and fun! We both agreed it was the best part of our trip.
P.S. A helpful tip for travelers - they even had extra jackets on the sailboat (nice touch - and needed) as it got cold on the water. |

Well worth the price. Plenty of room to move around and nothing blocking the fantastic views of the bay. So much better than being packed in on the Blue & Gold or Red & White. Captain & crew were great!!! |

A fast, large, catamaran with a professional crew is a great different way to do a Bay Cruise, especially for those looking to sail, not slog through on a cookie cutter power boat trip.
I would definitely recommend an Adventure Cat cruise to my friends. |

spectacular views from the water of the city as well as all the bay sights. Unusual and memorable views of the GG bridge from underneath. Best way to see the bridge. When under sail, only the wind and water can be heard. Sunny day and cool when we went, bring a jacket. Top 10 things to do in the city. |

A group of 4 friends celebrating a special birthday had a wonderful time on the 1.5 hour bay cruise. The wind was chilly, but the breath taking views looking up under the Golden Gate Bridge were well worth it. Having a bar on board just made the experience even better. We enjoyed a cocktail inside, all the while marveling at the water, wind surfers, city skyline and Alcatraz. Truly a trip will take again. |

My family and I had a wonderful time on the Adventure Cat. I had been a couple of times before, with co-workers, and really enjoyed myself. This time my parents, my sister and her fiance, and myself and my boyfriend all went. It was really relaxing, and very scenic. It's a great way to see the city and its skyline, and see the Golden Gate. The music and the beer really added to the fun atmosphere. Thanks for the great afternoon! |

I have been out on the Adventure cat many times - with three generations of family, with my co-workers as part of a retreat day, and with a group of gals for the beginning of a bachelorette evening. The Adventure Cat has been a blast everytime. Everyone I've taken has remarked on how wonderful the cataman ride is - the smooth sailing and the closeness to the water. What a great way to appreciate the beauty of our Bay, Angel Island, the GG Bridge, the skyline. Perfect for locals and tourists alike. |

I'd recommned the Adventure Cat to anyone- locals or tourists, young or old, families or couples.
We booked the trip ahead of time and had no problems finding the boat at the pier. The boat accomadates about 90, but we were lucky to sail with a small group of around 20. On the boat, there's plenty of space to sit or stand outside. Or, if you prefer, you can enjoy the views from the inside cabin. The captain and two crew members were very friendly.
The trip lasts an hour and a half. You'll sail around Alcatraz, along the coast, and under the Golden Gate Bridge. The views are outstanding and there are great picture opportunities.
Keep in mind that it will get cold and windy! You're on a boat in San Francisco, not Miami. There are extra jackets onboard for guests use, but I recommend you bring a jacket with a hood to block the wind.
In the cabin there's a small snack bar that serves soda, chips, and has a decent selection of beers.
We sailed by several of the giant Blue and Gold fleet ships, packed with hoards of tourists. The Adventure Cat is a much better value and provides a more intimate, local experience. |
