We're locals and were taking some out-of-towners out for a day on the bay. We were all very happy with the experience, especially us locals, who've been on sailing tours of the bay many times already, and we were pleased that the boat went a different way than many others. It doesn't circle around Angel Island, but instead goes close to the Marina/Crissy Field and then close to the headlands outside the Golden Gate.
It was nice to be able to either wander around the deck or sit just inside for a bit when it got too windy (as it tends to do at this time of year).
My only peeve--the receipt said we were supposed to get two complimentary drinks with the ticket, but the drinks were definitely NOT complimentary. Expect to pay for them if you go. |

We had a great time! I want to go back and take my kiddo! The best part was going under the bridge and catching the waves. We stood in the front and held onto the railing. We also watched a competitiion going on with some wind surfers. It was the best birthday present ever =) |
