| Friendly staff, well worth the money. We thought it was a great trip around the bay, it gave us a close up look of Acatraz, Sausalito, and the bridge. It was very nice. We got a rather cold and windy day, which made it hard to stay out on the deck, but it was well worth it. |

| I thought that the cruise offered an excellent view of San Francisco. The music selection was great and the lack of hokey crew interaction was appreciated. I would recommend this event to anyone who wants to take a relaxed cruise of the bay. One note: wear something that will keep the wind off of you. |

| We were lucky enough to have really nice weather, which might make a difference. The boat was large enough to have room to move around and to get inside if you got too cold (or wet), but small enough to really feel that you're out on the water (and to get wet, if you want to). The crew was friendly and competent. There's enough cheese and crackers to go around, and you get two drinks (beer, wine, or nonalcoholic) included. We cruised close by Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate bridge, and back around the other side of Alcatraz. Definitely a fun way to spend some time on the Bay. |

| I picked this cruise specifically for the catamaran! While the bay views were spectacular and we lucked out with some sunny 80 degrees in April...the best part was the boat itself. I love sail boats because they are so smooth and quiet. It was a great way to get out on the water and actually relax, instead of yelling over the sound of a motor and choking on gas fumes.
Also, the cash bar was a great addition so we could kick back with some IPA and really get to relaxing! Next time I will take the sunset cruise for a different view of the Bay.
One small note- the website claimed that the cruise started at 6:30, but it actually was moved to 6pm. We were confused by the conflicting information and actually missed the cruise! The staff was very nice to let us reschedule. We are pretty anal about reservations and timing and were mad at ourselves for misunderstanding. So, if you book the sunset cruise, double check your actual ticket (and NOT the website) for the correct sail time.
Otherwise, the cruise was my favorite part of our SFO visit! |

| Weather is obviously the big risk in signing up for something like this. We went on 10/10/09 (our 5-year anniversary), and it was a cold, cloudy night. Yes, we saw a lot of great things, took some great photos and the sail was quite exhilarating. Overall, a worthwhile activity. But it was a little colder and breezier than you might want, and the visibility was a little limited. There's obviously nothing you can do about the weather, but it does factor into the enjoyment a little. On the plus side, Adventure Cat did provide good warm jackets if you're warm clothes weren't enough. And the cocktails and appetizers were good. On the minus side, it would have been nice to hear some info about what we were seeing from the captain and crew over the speakers, instead of hearing the breezy, Caribbean music (which seemed a little out of place on this brisk night). |

| Had a great time. Weather was chilly but jackets were provided. Nice size boat and group, not overly crowded. |

| Combination of sail and power (when needed), close to the water, outstanding perspective and view of Alcatrez, Golden Gate Bridge, Ft. Baker, and looking back at San Francisco as the lights just begin to wink on here and there! Outstanding! Highly recommend! |

| My husband and I spent 3 days in SF for our 10 year anniversary. This was our favorite adventure! The crew were so friendly and took time to talk with the guests - we learned so many things about sailing from Hans! The music and food were great. Both of us enjoy photography and since the catamaran's course zig-zagged back and forth across the bay we had opportunities to shoot several subjects from multiple views and came back with some outstanding photos! I loved that we went under the Golden Gate bridge, and we even steered right through a whole fleet of other sailboats! We enjoyed travelling with a smaller group - I would guess there were only about 30 people on board - and loved that we were so close to the water - you could never get this thrill on a ferry or big dinner cruise boat. Outstanding! |

| I took my elderly parents on this trip as having been on it before I knew it was a good way to see the bay, and the GG Bridge. Once again, it was a thoroughly impressive trip - I'd definitely recommend it. |

| great crew, fun 1.5 hrs, beautiful sunset sail w/great photo ops of bay area and bridge @ sunset.
we did a daytime tour boat last time w/a different company. this time, a sailboat sunset ride. the boat tour was more 'informational' w/a tour guide that spoke the whole time. the sailboat was more about the beauty of the bay at sunset, no tour-guide type discussion but friendly, accommodating, interesting crew. we preferred the sunset sail and would recommend it. you can stay inside, or out - and there were refreshments/drinks included in the price. the day boat ride was more like a bus tour on the water. |
