Sunset Sail on San Francisco Bay

By far the best money I've ever spent in this city. We had a group of 12 for a friend's 30th birthday and every one of us is still raving about it. The views of the city, the bridge, the ocean, the Marin hills, Alcatraz Island, all with the wind in your hair and the water beneath your feet--it was magical. I'm so glad we went with Adventure Cat instead of one of those giant animatronic tour boats. It was so much more intimate, and the crew was a blast. Highly recommended for out of town visitors and locals alike. Tip: Get there early and walk around Pier 39 to kill time. Don't count on a cab to get you there on time. It will be late, like ours was, and you will be sprinting down the pier like a nut. We only made it because of our cab driver's willingness to run red lights and our lightning fast feet.

Bring a jacket!

Fun and relaxing trip. No narration or history. We were lucky to have two local couples who pointed out places of interest.

The boat was much larger than expected and therefore held far more passengers than we had expected. It was actually too crowded so that it was difficult to take a photo. There wasn't room for everyone to go inside the cabin if it had started to rain.

My husband and I traveled with another couple to San Francisco for a 3 day trip. We took the Sunset Cruise on our last night and had the BEST time! It is definately one of my favorite memories of the trip. The crew was great! There weren't a ton of people on the boat, which was nice. The views were incredible. Don't forget your camera! I do wish I had worn some light gloves (being from Texas who would think about gloves in August!). Excellent Activity!

The boat was nice as were the crew. Wish someone would have narrated the cruise. Expected better appetizer's from Boudin.

the sunset bay cruise was one of the coolest trips in the city that i have taken. i highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for something fun and exciting to do. i have already told a number of people how nice it was and i am planning my next trip soon. the price is perfect and absolutely worth it, the nice and courteous staff is a compliment to a perfect bay adventure. thank you for the great time! chris

I really enjoyed the cruise and view...however it was extremely cold. Blankets on the boat would be a great idea.
