| We had a great time on this cruise. I had read previous reviews before booking this cruise. Info I found very helpful was to go prepared with a jacket! It was quite windy but we were expecting this. The cruise itself was fabulous. We enjoyed the smaller sailboat type cruise over the larger boats with a lot of people. If you enjoy being on the water and smaller crowds, this cruise is for you. The views of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge were excellent. A note on the drinks and appetizers...I read previous reviews with complaints on the snacks and drinks. We were going on this cruise to see the sites, not for the snacks, so we found the snacks and beverages to be a bonus! And they on top of that, they weren't bad! Happy Sailing! |

| There was a large group of young European tourists with an advisor on board with us, but they were harmless. The appetizers that were served were less than desireable...cut up vegetables, pre-packaged dips and crackers/sliced bread. Something any teenager could have prepared on paper plates...and the drink choices were canned soda, a few domestic beers, and a choice of Beringer red or white wine. Don't go expecting much food or drink wise. The trip took us past Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge...they stopped so that everyone could get pictures and the sunset was gorgeous. Even though it was August-it was very cold out on the Bay. Dress warm-layers are probably a good idea and expect to get wet if you stay outside in the front...but they do warn you about this. The Bay waters can be rough-so it can be a bit rocky from time to time. Overall though, we had a great time and it's a great way to see the bridge close up. |

| The cruise itself was terrific, couldn't recommend it more. The only downside was that the cruise we took had about 8-10 foreign teenage/college girls acting loud and obnoxious, crowding every corner of the boat while they took pictures of each other (oblivious to the movements of the boat or the sights we were sailing around - and everyone else on board, for that matter). They didn't break the rules, but it did detract from the cruise itself, and I really wish there was a way that kind of immature behavior could be curtailed.
The boat was also very crowded, packed to the maximum 55 people (it really shouldn't be more than 40, but they are running a business, so I understand). My recommendation is to avoid Fridays and Saturdays, go midweek to avoid the brats. |

| I really enjoyed the cruise, although it was a little bit more crowded than I would have preferred. The crew was very friendly and helpful, and the accommodations are very comfortable. For those who have a tendency toward motion-sickness, as I do, while the boat was underway I had no problems at all. However there were some times when they just drifted/floated, at which time I felt a little "unsettled".
This is not a "tour" in the sense of having a guide tell you all about things or point out places of interest, so if that is what you are looking for you should look elsewhere. If you want a pleasant cruise on the bay, a little music, food & beverages, and interesting sights, this is the place! |

| Nice catamaran and nice sail around the bay. Due to thick fog we couldn't see more of the Golden Gate then the bottom part. For the same reason we didn't see any sunset. The day thereafter (mid July) we made a day trip to the Golden Gate bridge and had fantastic weather (sunny) and visibility. Not clear to me whether sunset conditions are better on other days. Catamaran crew very friendly and evening snacks and drinks were more then OK. |

| The bay cruise was, well nice... My wife and I took the evening cruise in mid July and boy was it cold! The wind was non-stop and the water was really choppy- typical Bay weather for summer. The drink selection was extremely limited and the crew wasn't very nice. We kind of expected smiles and friendly greetings, but it was just "Welcome aboard"..." enjoy your trip" with flat, expressionless faces. We probably won't do it again. |

| We've been on SF Bay Cruises before. This one is a cut above the normal. Being on a sailing cat with a smaller group and more individualized service was wonderful. Highly recommended. |

| We went out on a VERY windy and cold day. The ride was so crazy that we were getting a little sea sick inside. We went outside and it was better to get some air, but still hard to drink and impossible to eat. We agreed that the food wasnt great anyway. When we tried the food inside, the salsa was bland, the chips were low quality--some kind of flavored Doritos--and the bread for the spinach dip was also obviously cheap and tasted bad.
But we didnt come for the food. We ended up having a great time outside on the front of the boat and for a while when the wind calmed down, on the trampoline nets. It was definitely an adventure. Loved going under the GG Bridge. Luckily we brought wind breakers and gloves...I would recommend bringing these things on your website, as well as a warm hat; we could have used them.
I would recommend this ride but would make sure to say "check the weather before." Although this can be hard if you are planning far ahead of time...and no one knows when the wind will be crazy. I think it would be much more enjoyable on a nice, sunny day.
Also, the staff was great! Really nice guys, very helpful, cheerful...they were one of the best parts of the ride.

| This is the second time I have been on the Adventure Cat. It is a great way to see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge and it's much more fun than the ferries as you get closer to the action!
It is also great value as you get some tasty nibblies and a couple of drinks as part of the package, you can also buy more drinks on board if you want.
For those who want a bit of adventure try walking out of the nets but watch out if you are near the edge as you could get wet (I certainly did).
Make sure you wear warm clothes as it gets very cold out on the water but there are some jackets on board to borrow if you need them.
I would definately recommend this trip to anyone visiting San Francisco.
