Sunset Sail on San Francisco Bay

I surprised my wife with this cruise for our 3rd wedding anniversary. She thought it was very romantic and special. What she didn't know was that I also considered booking a dinner cruise that was going to cost me twice as much! :) If you go on this one, be very careful with your camera. I asked another person on board to take a picture of us. She dropped my camera and it almost goes through the net floor. Thank God it didn't bounce away from the hard center strip that connects the nets. Nevertheless it was a scary moment.

My girlfriend and I wanted to do something romantic together, so we decided to try a sunset cruise on the San Francisco Bay. The cruise itself was great, nothing to criticize, but unfortunately we didn't do a great enough job at checking the weather forecast and so the sun set behind a thick layer of clouds. We felt we lost the main reason for the cruise. Still, sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge and seeing the SF skyline was romantic. All in all very recommended, but check the weather in advance as I believe a sunset would have made it that little bit more special.

Very easy directions, so much fun and beautiful tour. I have every intention of returning to this tour cause it was amazing, and yes, highly recommended. Just bring warm clothes (depending weather) and bring medications if you get motion sickness.

We had a wonderful time on this cruise. While you do get free drinks and some appetizers, you are really paying for the amazing views of the city and the thrill of being on the deck of a beautiful boat as you pass Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge (and even go right underneath). A stunning sunset was an excellent backdrop for the fabulous photos we took. The bonus was picking up two stranded windsurfers and Captain Joey kindly dropped them at a neighbouring beach. Romantic and fun - ther perfect honeymoon activity and a great way to see San Francisco!

this cruise is an excellent date idea! wether you are having a first date or just a night out with your significant other, this cruise is awesome! timed perfectly to arrive at the golden gate bridge with a perfect sunset. bring a camera, warm clothes, and warm shoes. Have fun!

It helps that we hit this tour on one of the warmest and sunniest days of the season in SF, but it was wonderful to be out on the bay in the quiet of a sailboat. Good snacks, friendly crew, relaxed atmosphere. We were with my niece and her boyfriend visiting from back east, but I know we enjoyed the trip knowing all the landmarks at least as much as they did as tourists. it was just dark enough at our return for all the lights to be on at the wharf, looking like the sparkling jewel that San Francisco is.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time and have already recommended this trip to several people. Exciting to ride in the front and great views of everything. When you get too cold you can head back inside. Going under the bridge and watching sunset on the way back was a highlight of our trip. The crew was very nice and were helpful.

Fun and relaxing trip. No narration or history. We were lucky to have two local couples who pointed out places of interest.
