| Even though we live in San Francisco Bay Area and have been to this part of the bay a thousand times - this is the first time we took a boat ride and believe me, its a totally different experience. Seeing the city skyline before and after the sun-set, passing underneath the Golden Gate bridge just as the sun is setting, the cool breeze on the face giving you a warm feeling... all these need to be experienced and not written down, yet I am giving it a shot at trying to tell you how wonderful it is.
About the boat - I mean Catamaran - that was an adventure in itself and the crew was very friendly and courteous. Riding on the deck of the catamaran was real fun. And its perfectly safe for all - adults as well as kids. Just remember to dress up in warm clothes. In fact all the time, untill sunset, we all were on the deck and never came inside the cabin. But if you want to be nice a cozy and worm as the day unwinds, the Cabin too is a beautiful place to be.
Two little bits of suggestions to the operators.
Firstly, if you could have kids tickets at lower prices. We paid same price for my two kids and my 2 year old and 4 year old did not have wine or beer or even the appetizers:) and we just wasted our 4 coupons. Secondly if you could stock up some good foods - I dont mind paying for that on the bar.
All in all a wonderful experience and as the big boss of California says - "We'll be Back" with more friends this time :)
Keep it up Sailors. |

| The cruise was ok nothing to go crazy over. I bought tickets online for sept 15 and the ticket company had me down for sept 14 so that was a little problem but we got on. |

| I went on the cruise with my wife for the last day of our honeymoon. We had an excelent time and both reallt enjoyed the cruise. The two guys who took us out were both very friendly and allways willing to let us both get involved in a bit of the sailing.
The sights were excelent, the only thing i must mention is that if you are looking for a trip with a guide who explains the local sights as you pass them this may not be the one for you as it is very much a cruise and a sail and not an info tour.
Having said that i would recomend it to anyone as an excelent way to relax and enjoy an eveaning away from the chaos of the city. |

| It was a great sailing experience! The crew was very friendly and warm. The views were fantastic. We think the evening cruise is the best. |

| We had a wonderful time on this sunset cruise! My husband and I and our two boys (11 & 9) enjoyed the boat, the quiet of the sails, the wonderful scenery (Golden Gate Brige is amazing at Sunset)... My boys never came inside the cabin! They hung out on the front railing pointing at the scenery, and riding the waves on the netting of the Catamaran. The crew provided a nice assortment of snacks, drinks and even extra jackets (It does get cold out there.) which made for a wonderful evening. Have a nice bowl of chowder in a nearby resteraunt before you board to get nice and warm first... |

Nice views, but too much engine used for this sail

| This is advertised as a sunset sailing cruise where the engine is used to get into and out of the harbor. Unfortunately, on our cruise the engine was used repeatedly, which took away from the sailing experience. There was not enough seating for everyone and many people were drunk and dropping plastic cups into the sea.
The staff was courtesous and pleasant, and the views of the bridge were spectacular. Our family had a nice time on the evening cruise, but less engine would have made it a better sail. |

| I was expecting something a bit more memorable for a sunset cruise of the bay - especially considering the premium one pays for the evening trip. Turns out that it is just a windy, cold run around Alcatraz to the Golden Gate bridge and back to Pier 39. No one explaining what you are seeing - just a couple of guys driving the boat and one guy at the bar. There is also a selection of inexpensive appetizers - chips and salsa, bread and spinach dip, crackers & cheese, grapes, veggies, etc. They ran out of plates pretty quickly, so you had to use napkins, instead.
It's popular - there were about 40 people for a Monday night sail - half huddled inside the cabin, the other half freezing outside. Just seemed overpriced at $45 to me. It was our first night in town and we thought that this would be special - my kids were definitely bored. I don't think that it will make the "top 10" list for our vacation. |

| This was our 3rd. cruise on the Adventure Cat. I would suggest to anyone going to S.F. should have this at the top of their list of things to do in the bay area. The crew, the food and the drinks made it even more enjoyable. The only way to see the Golden Gate bridge is looking up at it from the Adventure Cat.
Thanks for helping make our vacation a memorial one.

| I think we have may enjoyed this, however Friday night I got a little sick from the large swells. My wife who was in the navy and never was sick said she felt nauseated. Several others on the boat also laid down because thet got sick. So much for a catamaran and the smooth ride. I was on a harbor cruse in Newport RI last year with no problem. I am sure your service is fine but I would not try it again. |
