Had a great time

We enjoyed the cruise very much - the crew was friendly, the views great, the boat was clean and seemed safe. Everything was great except maybe for the obnoxious guy and his drunk wife who thought we all wanted to hear about all the topics on which they found themselves to be experts.

I would recommend this activity to those who prefer a less crowded environment, but also heed this advice, you may want to go with a larger vessel if you are more concerned with weather. The smaller catamaran didn't not provide lots of relief from the cold of the bay but the crew did provide jackets for those less prepared. The food and drinks were accommodating but not impressive, yet we did not expect them to be. Overall, with some more layers of clothing this was a perfect way to end our weekend get away.

Fun trip, great views, responsive staff

Left port late afternoon and sailed toward Sausalito and the Golder Gate. As the sun dropped over the headlands we sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge. What a sight! On the return we watched as the sunset silouetted the bridge and wisps of fog played with the receeding headlands. Snacks and drinks were plentiful during the trip and staff was very helpful. They even had extra jackets for us, knowing it can get cold in winds of the bay. One of the best things we did while in San Francisco.

Fabulous!

Having never been on a cruise we were not sure what to expect. We chose the Adventure Cat because we wanted a casual ride that was not to "touristy". It was even better than we had hoped! The ride was casual with very comfortable seating. We liked that the capitan and crew answered any questions asked, but did not speak constantly over a loud speaker (as we hear on other boats going by). We will definately go on another ride on the Adventure Cat when we visit San Fransisco again - it was the best part of our visit!

Great Sail

We had a great sail - Boat handled 30kts of wind and a 6' chop comfortably. Great crew. Decent cocktail hour.

Fun time but could use more organization

Hi! Thanks for the nice time that we had on your cruise. My only comment was that it felt a little disorganized when we were first trying to board. Some people had their "blue" tickets, others had "red" tickets and I had no idea where I was supposed to get these. I had come early with my e-ticket, and it was hard to tell who I was supposed to check-in with. A couple of signs for gathering points would have been helpful and would have made me a little less anxious at the beginning. Thanks!!

This cruise is on our must-do list for visitors...

We had SO much fun on the trip! The view is amazing, and the boat goes beyond the golden gate bridge...which means some gooood waves. If you want to get wet, stand at the front of the boat during that portion. You can stay dry and relatively warm inside the cabin, and still get good views. The cocktails are only beer and wine, and the wine isn't the fanciest, but they are all wonderful anyway. Appetizers are great as well, just wait until everyone else crowds around and eats before getting into line if you want the most relaxing experience. The music is fun and appropriate. The teenagers were a little much, but that is the fault of the parents...not the cruise company. :) Take a camera and some warm clothes...it's beautiful!

Romantic Birthday celebration for wife
Sun, Jun 1, 08   6:30 PM hjawale Unspecified Unspecified Local Couple on a Date
My wife absolutely loved celebrating her birthday on the bay. The crew was nice and food/drinks were available on the counter. It was a brilliantly clear evening sky and the captain steered the boat at the right spots on the bay for a fantastic photo-op in front of the Golden Gate. My wife is unlikely to forget this birthday :)

Awesome

First off we missed our sail time on Thursday by about 5 minutes due to getting some incorrect Hotel directions from our Hotel (bummer), I was very upset as this was a surprise for my husband as we were on a anniversary trip. I called the next morning knowing that the trip was not able to be rescheduled or refunded but I called and spoke to a very very nice lady there and explained what happened. She was allowed us to reschedule for Saturday night ..how wonderful of her to do that. The cruise itself was amazing the scenery was beautiful and the crew was really nice as well. The catamaran goes right under the Golden Gate bridge which was amazing as well as the view of the city and Alcatraz. I would recommend that anyone who lives in San Francisco or is visiting that this cruise is a must !

A Day (Evening) on the Bay

My friends and I, who are all San Francisco natives, decided to go on the sunset cruise. It was very last minute-- we bought our tickets the same day. Luckily there were tickets available and we were able to reserve them quickly. The cruise was breathtaking! Unfortunately, it wasn't a guided tour, but we knew which landmark was which. It was chilly, as it was an evening cruise, but they kindly provided warm jackets. They also had yummy snacks and two free drinks! Even though we all lived in San Francisco our whole lives, that experience gave us a new, beautiful view of our city. Highly recommended!
