| This was by far one of my favorite outings while visiting my daughter in San Francisco. The crew was great, the food was good and the views were fantastic. The catamaran allowed you the option of being inside or out - and going back and forth as suited you. The feeling of actually sailing was quite liberating and relaxing. I even took advantage of hanging out on the cargo nets when the water wasn't rough. I took several other trips where we were crammed onto ferries so having a small group on the catamaran was much more enjoyable. If you only get tickets for one thing while in San Francisco, this sunset cruise would get my enthusiastic vote. P.S. while planning my family's trip, i read all of the glowing reviews of this cruise before booking and now i add my kudos as well! The five-star rating is well-deserved!!!!! |

| The skipper, first mate, food service, and cruise photo opportunities were wonderful. The sunset sailing experience was the highlight of my five days in San Francisco. Because of the hundred California wildfires and the smoke-filled air, the sailing excursion was my only opportunity to see the entire Golden Gate Bridge, as well as Alcatraz. |

It was barely OK for the Money!!!

| I had great expectations with the sunset cruise but it was a barely "ok" cruise!!!
The adventure cat was clean, spacious in that regards, had good hors d'oeuvre, wine and beer but for a ride that's not even FREE for children under 7 was overall very lame. This was supposed to be a SUNSET cruise, and the area was soo densely covered with fog that they should have rescheduled.....but they went ahead...NOT a ray of sun did we manage to see. They took was past Alcatraz, under the Golden gate bridge but the crew would not tell us where we were until we asked them. We were completely muddled in the fog.
For this kind of cruise, you can pay a lot less and still manage to get much more out of your money.
Weather is a major factor in SF....no doubt, but $47 for adults and children (even a 3 year old) this was an ABSOLUTE waste!
I do not know about the DAY cruises but the evening cruise was bad. Sorry.
Very Pricey for the service provided. |

| Cruise would have been great had I not picked the coldest day of San Fran's summer to take the cruise. So check your weather report, the water was so choppy that we really could not stand outside. When we did get out toward the sunset, it was really nice and I'll try it again because for the price it was worth the trip. |

A MUST DO if you are at least somewhat adventurous

| My husband and I (late 40's) took this cruise and had an absolute blast! You will have great views of the whole warf area, alcatraz and the golden gate bridge and can get some great photos. You can just sit in one spot inside and not move the whole trip or you can move all around the boat in and out (which we did). Be aware that it is a bit rough, so be sure to wear sneakers. Our cruise was quite chilly, but they have coats on board you can borrow. Don't expect to sit outside on the netting the whole time, as you will get wet, but there was certainly times you could sit out there. Once the netting got wet it was obviously wet to sit there anytime afterward - but we didn't mind. It was really a lot of fun. Our cruise only had 8 people on board which made it fun and easy to move around - a full boat might not have been quite as enjoyable. I would highly recommend the trip! |

| Wow, we very much enjoyed our cruise on the beautiful Adverture Cat! The staff was wonderful and professional and the views were fabulous. The food was more like snacks but the overall experience was excellent! We would do it again and have recommended it to others already. |

| Having never been on a cruise we were not sure what to expect. We chose the Adventure Cat because we wanted a casual ride that was not to "touristy". It was even better than we had hoped! The ride was casual with very comfortable seating. We liked that the capitan and crew answered any questions asked, but did not speak constantly over a loud speaker (as we hear on other boats going by). We will definately go on another ride on the Adventure Cat when we visit San Fransisco again - it was the best part of our visit! |

| Hi! Thanks for the nice time that we had on your cruise. My only comment was that it felt a little disorganized when we were first trying to board. Some people had their "blue" tickets, others had "red" tickets and I had no idea where I was supposed to get these. I had come early with my e-ticket, and it was hard to tell who I was supposed to check-in with. A couple of signs for gathering points would have been helpful and would have made me a little less anxious at the beginning. Thanks!! |

| We had SO much fun on the trip! The view is amazing, and the boat goes beyond the golden gate bridge...which means some gooood waves. If you want to get wet, stand at the front of the boat during that portion.
You can stay dry and relatively warm inside the cabin, and still get good views.
The cocktails are only beer and wine, and the wine isn't the fanciest, but they are all wonderful anyway.
Appetizers are great as well, just wait until everyone else crowds around and eats before getting into line if you want the most relaxing experience.
The music is fun and appropriate.
The teenagers were a little much, but that is the fault of the parents...not the cruise company. :)
Take a camera and some warm clothes...it's beautiful! |

| First off we missed our sail time on Thursday by about 5 minutes due to getting some incorrect Hotel directions from our Hotel (bummer), I was very upset as this was a surprise for my husband as we were on a anniversary trip. I called the next morning knowing that the trip was not able to be rescheduled or refunded but I called and spoke to a very very nice lady there and explained what happened. She was allowed us to reschedule for Saturday night ..how wonderful of her to do that.
The cruise itself was amazing the scenery was beautiful and the crew was really nice as well. The catamaran goes right under the Golden Gate bridge which was amazing as well as the view of the city and Alcatraz.
I would recommend that anyone who lives in San Francisco or is visiting that this cruise is a must ! |
